What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were amazing, the private pool was great, the grounds were amazing and the people were so friendly and wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

What a gem. We were unable to read reviews from the alternative sites, however the property is as described and more! What a beautiful beach front location. The craftsmanship put into building the villa did not go unnoticed. I liked that we could lock up but did not ever feel like we needed to. The mosquito net over the bed was beautiful and necessary although not as buggy as was expected. We walked a little way on the beach and enjoyed the coral and fish. We brought our own masks therefore we were able to snorkel and see rays. There are 2 SUPs on the property and we very much enjoyed taking them out for hours! We went to the nearby lagoon with an abandoned bungalow hotel (we did not enter the property) but we snorkeled the lagoon. Nestor was onsite and was so kind and generous. He brought us fresh coconut water and mangos from the property. I wish we spoke French so we could have had better conversation than just a few words and translation app. Mondy was our contact via VRBO messaging and was kind and responded quickly with any questions we had. Even made sure we grabbed some food before coming out to the property. We LOVED how secluded the location was, but may not be for everyone. The property is down a dirt road and at one spot in the dark I wasn’t even sure it was still a road. We turned the corner and there was Nestor flagging us in and showing us around. We LOVED this stay and would certainly book again and again.

Very quiet beautiful location. Staff made us welcome as soon as we arrived. Pick up at ferry was right on time with a comfortable ride. Staff was very helpful with anything we needed. Rental car/scooter right on site and island was very easy to get around. Terrible wifi connection is probably the only thing that could be improved. Free us of kayaks, snorkel gear and paddle boards was great. Would definitely recommend.

We have traveled through French Polynesia for over a month now, staying at high-end resorts and luxury bungalows. However, none of those places compare to our experience here! The home was extremely comfortable, clean, and beautiful, with a perfect location right on the beach next to a hotel/resort facility that welcomingly opens their amenities to the public. It's a short walk to town – go early for the fresh items, with groceries conveniently located nearby. Everything is within about a 5-minute walk from the beach. Don't miss the pizza truck that shows up at 6! The house was equipped with everything you could ever need. The owners on the property were the sweetest family, and their three dogs were absolutely lovable. While we didn't see the children much, the location is so amazing that we're planning to discuss a long-term contract when we return.Book your days now before we steal them all! LOL

Lovely family with a fantastic clean, quiet and tasteful 3 room bungalow with outdoor shower. and patio dining in nice garden setting.Kitchen was equipped.Tam and Tera provided transfers to and from property. Great location5 minutes to beach, 10 min bike ride to town. Recommend for a wonderful experience.

Worst lodging value of our trip - and it wasn’t even close View is lovely and Josephine was terrific and helpful As for the bungalow… it is in dire need of an upgrade. The cupboards, closets, kitchen and bath must date to the 60s. Other than coats of paint, not sure what maintenance is being done. There are only 2 working lights in total - none in the kitchen or at the bedside for reading. The toilet runs after every flush and we eventually ran out of hot water. The online photos are deceptive. The property is not on the water but rather 100 ft up and 100 ft back behind a driveway and row of houses. The private” access is a 10 ft wide passage between other houses leading a kayak launch and rocky shore. There is no beach and swimming would be difficult given how shallow the water is - best for kyaking really Lastly is the unpleasant and unaccommodating host. We booked, paid and confirmed our 3 day stay on VRBO - then booked our flights accordingly. 2 days later the host wrote that our 3rd day was taken by another booking ( turns out she is also on another site and doesn’t update them both in time) When we asked if we could pay for just the two nights that remained, she said no because there was a 3 day minimum!!! Remember this was her fault and we already had our flights booked. In the end we paid 3 nights for 2, in a tired, and uncharming space. Sorry to dump but we were very disappointed with the lack of quality and value
