Disappointing Stay: Outdated Hotel with Noise Issu
Rating: 2 stars I recently stayed at the Huntington Beach Hotel during the Pacific Air Show, and while the staff were absolutely lovely, the hotel itself really needs some upgrades. From the moment you walk in, the carpets are visibly dirty and worn out all the way to the rooms. The pool? Honestly, I wouldn’t even consider swimming in it—it was that bad. On top of that, the hotel is right next to a club (Oktoberfest), and the music was loud until around 2 AM, making it tough to get any sleep. I wanted to try something different for this trip, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again. The staff did their best, but the hotel’s overall condition left a lot to be desired.

Location was great and easy to get onto the 405. Costco and other shopping Plus many dining options a few minutes walk away. Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, though dated furnishings and fixtures. A lobby coffee or water station would be nice.
