Renovated property convenient to the freeway but without the noise. Very basic breakfast. The walls were so thin, we could hear activity in the hallway and talking from the room next door.

Good location. Easy to access SHSU. I've stayed here a few times with no real issues. Air was off in the room (im sure to cut costs), and it takes a while for the room to cool down to a manageable temperature.

I filled out all of he info requested to check-in on line, including a photo of my drivers license and also the credit card I would be using, was notified that all I had to do was pick up the key. When we arrived I had to due the exact thing over with the desk clerk. If all the info is done on-line, why is it duplicated when you arrive. Seems a waste of time to do both.

I prepaid for this stay using Expedia. After checking out, the hotel charged my card for the full stay. On calling, the front desk person had the audacity to claim that Expedia is a fraudulent company and that they had to charge me directly. I have had to go through an extremely frustrating process with Expedia to get a refund as I keep being answered by Bots instead of human beings which keep selecting the wrong itinerary and sending me automated policy answers.

The electricity went out for several hours on the morning we were trying to get ready to leave. It’s hard to take a shower and then dry your hair when you can’t see. I realize though it was not the fault of the hotel.
