Our room was very clean and the bed comfy. The room had been tastefully remodeled. It was a quiet stay. I'd book again. Be nice if the room had a microwave. The parking lot has huge potholes!

Property needs to put a visible address sign at entrance to prooerty. Hard to find at night. Property name on reservation did not match sign at the location. 3 collage grad people did not think the "The Lodge" was the same amas. Snow River Mountain Resort. We came in at night. The after hrs checkin worked ok but we believe the unit numbers should match the directions given .in other words . Put the actual unit numbers visible on the building id instead of current numbers.

We stayed here during the off season and it was great! Beautiful views and we had the whole pool are to ourselves. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. None of the food/drink options were open but there were a couple places in town that satisfied our needs.

We arrived at 8pm with a envelope at the front desk with directions to a locker that unless you had xray vision ot was impossible to see the combination. Then a map to our vuilding that made zero sense. The. All night amd early morning we had groups of chinese people coming and going , slamming doors and making so much noiee. Will not atay here again

It was a good place to stay but being out of skiing season not much in amenities, but staff good and suggestions where to eat great. Bed against wall was not comfortable to gwt up out of at night. Talked to staff about putting microwaves in rooms.

Nice off-season stay
I always enjoy staying at ski resorts in the off season, and Snowriver fits the bill. Lodging was reasonably priced. It was relatively quiet, but very scenic. The location was perfect for exploring surrounding waterfalls, lakefront, and Porcupine Mountains State Park. The room was compact, but very clean and comfortable. I think it would be tight if sharing this space amongst 4 people just due to lack of seating options and no room to spread out or just hang out in the room. (I don’t know where one would put all the luggage for 4 people with all their ski gear for a long weekend.) However it was fine if one is just using the room to sleep and then get ready in the morning (which is how I use hotels). My only real (first world) problem was lack of functional WiFi. There was occasionally a very weak and slow signal that disappeared more than it was available, but it was not sufficient to actually use during my stay. Consequently I burned up a lot of cell phone data during my stay.

A Cute Midwest Getaway
I loved how cute the rooms are. They do not have a continental breakfast, or microwaves in the room but we were able to head into town to grab breakfast. We stayed in the double queen studio. The sights on the premises were amazing. The ski lift was super cool, although it was super cold and windy. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful as well. The only feedback I’d have to the property is to check the cleanliness of the rooms, our room had a few flies in it when we first arrived but I was quickly able to catch them and release them outside.

Vastly overpriced and underwhelming
I would have been underwhelmed if this room cost half of what it did, to be honest. Positives: The room was clean and attractive The mattress was quite comfortable Negatives: Very thin walls Terrible water pressure No breakfast, not even a thrown together continental buffet Badly overpriced - nearly $200 for a night for one person Unlit parking lot in terrible condition that you have to traverse between the lobby and the buildings with rooms

They are trying to do upgrades but the rooms had spiders and their webs in every corner, hair in the sheets, three day old coffee in the morning, NO HOT WATER

We stayed here for one night for our anniversary. Vintage ski resort. Kind of cute. The rooms in the main lodge are pretty small. Hot water for our shower was basically non existent so that was less than ideal. Minor issues like broken toilet paper holder. The pool and sauna were nice and the resort overall pretty cute. Everything was closed due to a wedding so we went into Bessemer to eat. Pretty view. 7/10 stars overall for the price but a cute, quaint place if you’re just looking to stay to ski or explore the UP and won’t be in your room much.

Maybe it's better in the winter?
This place may be better in the winter? I think we were the only guests there and they have only a few workers around. When I called, the gal answering he phone didn't have answers. The jacuzzi was broken. There was a dog free roaming that growled at everyone. The room was over priced for what we experienced. Oh- the signage is not clear and said Jackson River Summit where you check in. Confusing. With that said, the two men that worked there were kind and helpful with the surrounding area and info.
