This home has two bedrooms on the second floor, one with a queen bed and a spectacular view, and the other private room with two queen beds. There is a middle room with a sectional couch that can also accommodate 2 adults. The third semi-private sleeping area is on the lower level/basement and has 2 full beds. The lower level has a TV, woodstove, full bath/shower, refrigerator, laundry room, and a game room with Foosball table, corn hole and air hockey table.
The main floor has a cozy living room area that has a wood stove, DISH TV, and Wi-Fi is available. The main floor has a dining area, sitting area with a gas fireplace to enjoy your morning coffee, a full kitchen area with counter seating and dishwasher, and a full bath/shower.
Walk-around deck is furnished with an outdoor table, seating, and a gas grill. A fire ring and seating is available off the lower level. There is also a relaxing covered porch located off the lower level.
Boat parking for boats 21 ft and under (steep driveway and small turn-around space). RV/Campers are not permitted.
Lake Raystown is the fishing and boating capital of central Pennsylvania and James Creek launch is a hot spot for bass tournaments. We are five minutes from Lake Raystown Resort and Waterpark & Beaches, Trough Creek State Park's Balanced Rock and Swinging Bridge, multiple hiking trails, and great trout fishing. We are 15 minutes from Seven Points Recreational Area and Marina & Beaches, the Allegrippis biking trails, golfing at Huntingdon Country Club and guided fishing tours. Also, hunters are welcome. Walk across the street and hunt the Army Corp of Engineer property.
The house is approximately 18 miles from Huntingdon, Juniata College and Lincoln Caverns. Blue Knob, Tussey Mountain Ski Resorts and Penn State University is also within a one-hour drive.
