Upon arrival, I had booked an Executive suite room, but was given a regular room. So, we had to go back downstairs and take the time to get that figured out. Or didn’t come in that way so I had to show the desk clerk my Expedia account and what was booked.
The building needs updated desperately. There is black duct tape holding the carpet together in the lobby. Only one entrance door worked. Stains on the walls of the general hallway. We had to check 3 different floors to find an ice maker that worked.
I called from the room phone and using the automated service requested extra pillows and blankets. An hour and a half later they still had not been delivered, I checked with front desk, which I had to physically go downstairs as the phone in the room is all automated, and was told the automated system doesn’t work.
The temp in our room couldn’t be adjusted and was set on 80 degrees. It was a sauna. The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke even though we had a non-smoking room. The water temp never got hot in the shower in the morning. There was a blood stain (hopefully a stain and not fresh-it was bright red) on the sheets. There were crumbs on the floor between the bed and window as though the floor had not be vacuumed.
The front desk person was very nice, but that was the extent of the positives of our stay.
