Room is cute & comfortable. They were short-staffed so I had to walk almost a block to check-in at another hotel which was owned by the same people, then walk back to my room. It was challenging to get the shower water at the right temperature, but after a few minutes, it was fine. Breakfast was included & also served at the other hotel. I also checked out at the other hotel.

Good deal for the price. The amenities next door are nice but, No office and no microwave because its in the office. Which isn't available because there is no staff. Have to walk to the next block to have breakfast, and use the pool and hot tub and personnel lobby. A/C in room 19 was extremely loud and ran almost non stop. The bed, the TV and fridge were nice.

So Much Potential

The Aiken's Lodge is a great historic motel in downtown Kanab. Best Western apparently owns it now and is running it into the ground. No reception, pool in disrepair, breakfast is at the BW, not the Aiken's. The electricity is spotty. Needs some investment to make it what it once was. Could be so much more than what it is today.

Nice, private three beds.

Decent place to stay. We did have a nice three bed room with three separate areas. Only issue was we had to check in and eat breakfast down the street at the best western. Over all a good time. We would stay again.

We loved Aikens' retro mid-western charm! Location is great - right on the main street with a restaurant directly next door and many little gift shops to peruse. We had a great stay, and the price was great too!

Clean hotel

The room had a seperate bedroom which was nice. The bathroom had a lot to be desired. Toliet was low to the floor, shower needed to be remodeled. Its an old hotel/motel.

Good place to stay but not a lot to do at Kanab

Reception was closed due to staffing issues. Had to check into the Best Western instead. Staff welcoming and very efficient. Breakfast was very good. Everything very clean with coffee and bathroom accessories provided.
