Very friendly staff. Rooms very clean and well serviced.Great location and easy access to High Street and attractions. Great breakfasts and even pizza and chips now available in the evening plus a bar.

An amazing stay, although room was abit dated, need a lick of paint on the walls, besides that staff were amazing from checking in, to the food we had and service was second to none, we will definitely stay again.

When arriving at the hotel, I pulled up into the car park behind it. I started to feel concerned as to whether I had booked the correct place and I didn’t like the look of it. However when I got around to the front I was met with a wave of relief as it looked great, it was also in a very convenient location if you’re looking to go into the town. (10-15 minute walk approximately). Parking charges apply on the car park in front of the hotel and also at the back. (Approximately £10-£13 for 24 hours). Walking into the hotel it was visually pleasing, and so were the girls at reception and the bar. Free drinks were also offered on check in (membership). There were sweets, lemon water and mulled apple juice to help yourself to which was a nice touch. Snacks & drinks also available to buy. Check-in was quick and easy and everywhere was clean. Rooms - the shower was powerful and of good quality. The bathrooms were very clean and up to my standards, (which are high). (No blocked plug holes or dirt which is common). Also good lighting in the bathroom and the room itself. The air-conditioning and heating worked as it should. The rooms were sufficiently clean and supplied with all items required for a trip. The beds were comfortable and clean with a choice of different pillows. There were USB port plug sockets also which is very handy for business trips and doesn’t go unnoticed. Breakfast & dinner was good with a wide selection, the steak being a good choice. 5* rating.

We had a warm welcome. Our room was on the small side for a twin and there was a huge tv completely in front of the mirror! The bathroom felt recently decorated and was very clean. We had bad neighbours fighting during the night but the staff managed to sort the problem out after an hour.(3-4am!) Paige helped us with a misunderstanding over the swimming pool in the morning and we enjoyed a warm clean swim. The spa man was friendly. Paige gave us another room for our second night which was much quieter and we slept very well. We will return and hope Paige will be there to look after us again.
