Shower issues
Nice condo. Been staying at this complex for approximately 40 years. Notified complex multiple times before upstairs shower was repaired. Two days before end of vacation. Not happy.

Perfect Location
First time in Maui and I must say after visiting other beaches nearby, this is by far the best condo location. Walked beach front to Wailea and got to see sea turtles along the way. Restaurants and shops walking distance. The Condo had everything we needed for our stay: beach chairs, ice cooler, etc. Very spacious and the views an A+. A bit dated but overall a nice stay. Will definitely reserve again!!

HK #245 is one of the best!
Chose this condo because it had great sunset views without hot sun on the lanai, a side window that let amazing light into the common area and the loft space was closed into an actual bedroom with a queen sized bed. The room was stuffy and warm, but ideal for putting a baby down at 7pm......an air conditioner would make a world of difference in this room. The window at the top of the stairs would benefit from a blind that would deflect some of the direct sunshine that heats the second level.
The condo was thoughtfully equipped, with great extras like a clothes drying rack, umbrella, bathroom scale (helps to keep excesses in line!), drawer full of light bulbs (need more halogens), headlamp (great for everything from barbeque to evening walks south where the lighting is very poor). Most times, when we looked for something, it was exactly where it should be.
The beach equipment needs updating - only 1 of 3 chairs were any good and the umbrella is on it's last legs. Most of the knife block knives are too dull for safety, but the wood handled steak knives were great. 180 degree hinges on the kitchen cupboard next to the window would prevent several bumps and bruises. Not fond of carpet, but at least we could roll up/store the runners in hall, bathroom and kitchen.
Kudos to the construction team on the hill directly behind us - they were constantly watering the dirt, reducing the amount of red dust in our unit.
The Property Maintenance staff were excellent - with rapid response to any issues.
We will definitely book this unit again - in fact, amazed that it has any availability. Mary Lou
