not so good

The people are kind and pleasant but my room was in dire need of vacuuming, the bathroom window was broken. no glasses or cups for water, very loud with road and train noise. it was nice to have a low cost place for just dropping in to sleep for a few hours.

Great place with historic charm.

Not fancy but it has a lot of charm and a historic Route 66 feel. Basic amenities but clean and the management is excellent.

We travel a lot staying in budget motels. This place was an excellent budget option. Comfortable bed. Clean white sheets. Great shower water pressure. It's an old place but some upgrades have been done. We found it very quiet and we slept uninterrupted and did i say comfortable bed!! I would stay again. It's not fancy but good enough and budget friendly. My one recommendation is clean the shower better, check the corners and crevices and around the door frame. Its an easy fix. I always bring a bleach cleaner to budget places.

The staff/owners were really nice, greeting me by name (maybe I was the only one that hadn’t checked in yet). I don’t think they were fully booked. The hotel seemed to be in a quiet location. I had to alternate the electrical plugs into the power strip because of lack of outlets (minor issue). The bed was very comfortable. There was a tv, microwave, mini fridge.

Great Old School Gem

Very clean, well maintained motel. It's old school, which is perfect for Rte 66....it's been a while.since i used an actual key for a hotel room. 👍 Staff was great.

Big Mistake

I booked this room because of the good reviews I read. It was a mistake. It was old, dirty, and very noisy from the hwy right near to it. The bathroom floor was very dirty. I wiped it down with a wet washcloth which turned dark brown. There was no blow dryer in the room either. When I called they said there were no blow dryers. Very disappointing.

The microwave turned on by itself.. I was sitting in bed and the mivrowa e tirned on. So i opened its door. Then the "cook time" flased at 30 sec, then 1 min, then 3, then I unplugged it.

Really nice

It is a very nice old motel. Excellent for the price. The rooms have been upgraded and comfortable. I think because of the age it would be cool to paint the outside in retro colors.
