They double booked our stay and we got put into a half renovated room for our first night which we did arrive at 1am the next morning of our booking. Then the next day we waited for 3hrs to get into our new room. They did try and I’m sure they didn’t mean for these things to happen. The hot water only lasted a very short time maybe only 2mins. And they only stock the toilet paper with what looked to be the end of a roll everyday. They seemed friendly enough but didn’t understand any English so I used a translator app which helped a lot. I guess for the price we got what we paid for but it wasn’t a great place to take our family as all the floors had someone smoking and it just smelt bad every time we left the room.
Excellent hotel but noisy for rooms at the front. Very good restoration with brilliant staff, although I don't know what would happen if it became busy. Interesting bathroom which we liked, but could imagine some people getting spooked by glass walls. Good vslue

Staff were friendly and welcoming and the pool is nice. However there were a few issues. The walls between the rooms are very thin. We were in a room that was between two families both with babies and young children who kept us awake crying all night and then again at 5 or 6 in the morning. The bed sheets on the bed had blood stains. I understand they had been washed but still, not something you want to see, the sheets should have been binned. The hotel has a very big issue with ants. They were all over our room especially when we had room service and they were crawling all over the breakfast buffet and some of the food that hadn't been covered. One morning we also found multiple hairs in some of the fried rice and noodles that were out for breakfast. Ordering food from the restaurant I thought was adequate until the hair incident which put me off eating there. Over all they really need to improve on cleanliness.
Loved the pool and room. The restaurant service was very bad. Meal took so long to arrive and then the staff all stood around talking Thu did not come near us again. We had to tell to get another drink. Plus the food was terrible.
This hotel was very clean and the beds we're sooo comfortable. The staff was extremely nice. The front desk Manager was so helpful.
Don't forget to go to the roof top!
Apauling condition rude unfair that this place is even on a website. False information on location is also disgusting. It was a real holiday spoiler

Nice but bad location
The hotel itself was ok. Stayed in a family roon..very comfortable and clean . The pool was not that great. Surrounded by concrete with little to no sun exposure. Not a very child friendly pool. Location meant getting taxis everywhere

The decking around the pool area is broken and damaged in many places and need repairs. The outdoor tables and chairs are very old and dirty. Tables are rusty, with sharp edges. The 'rooftop bar' is not in use. Service is very slow, it took around 40-45 for a simple cocktail. The room was ok, although a little unclean. Soap scum on the shower screen and floor was quite dirty. We stayed on the ground floor on the south side of the building. The room was very noisy at night, constant noise from the basement area (deliveries, talking, phones ringing).
After arriving after midnight we jumped into bed only to find that there were blood stains on the inside of the doona cover, needless to say we checked out the next day and I will be taking my complaint further.
Only bad point I had with 3 rooms I had, where the beds where very Very Hard very uncomfortable sleep and there where loud people staying there in 4 rooms other side of our hall way carrying on all night to 6 am in the morning no fault on the hotel for them thou, hotel staff where amazing very helpful and breakfasts where very good .. I would stay there again only wish they would replace there mattresses for comfort
had an enjoyable stay at hotel the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was cosy and we enjoyed the facilities, room clean everyday, room service very nice.
Chose this hotel for its convenient location on Sunset Road. Walking distance to Krisna shop and Carrefour supermarket. Lots of cabs passing to go to Kuta or Seminyak and have learned how to recognise the Bluebird taxis from the colour, the bird which looks like a crane on the light, the sign The Bluebird Group on top of the front window, and the phone number 701111 on the back window. Bluebird will always use the meter and not rip you off. Other taxis will charge an exorbitant fixed price double or triple the going journey rate, and I've been told that these other cab companies who use meters clicks up to twice faster than the Bluebird cabs. I used to wonder why some cabs cost more for the same journey. Kind of spoils your trip when you get ripped off. If you get the staff to flag down a Bluebird for you, you'll make your stay more enjoyable at the Sun Boutique.
