A beautiful hotel, and the staff was very courteous. I'd stay there again but choose a different room. The Executive Junior Suite that we chose was quite outdated and the furniture in need of replacement. The room was very spacious with a separate sitting room from the bedroom.

Very nice clean big room that has space to put 2 opened suitcases. Very friendly staff. Nice view of Kyoto. Excelent location. Very convenient 5 min walk to Kyoto Station. 7 Eleven nearby. Shuttle bus every 20 min to Kyoto station- if you need to take suitcase with you that is great service. Lots of shops around. If you need souvenirs there are nice gift shops at Kyoto station. Don't go to Aeon shopping mall if you need souvenirs. Aeon mall has nice grocery store but not gift shops. There is ISetan department store at Kyoto station if you want to buy some clothing.

This hotel was great! Our room was huge (two double beds) and the location was incredible. It’s a 6 minute walk to Kyoto station making it super convenient.

Location of hotel is ok. About 450m walking distance to a big Aeon mall. Hotel offer free parking. Hotel has got sauna, but its only for gentleman and not for ladies and has to pay enterance fee despite we are staying, plus thw operating hour of the sauna and swimming pool open around 1.30pm and close around 8.30pm with last entry by 6.30pm. So those looking for a good dip in the evening after dinner should reconsider. (Beccause we are those looking forward for a good hot bath in evening after a long day walking around) Breakfast was nice with good variety.

Excellent stay at Rihga. The room was extremely spacious, the customer service was excellent, and the general hotel environment was very pleasant. Best accommodation we have stayed in so far on our trip to Japan. Very affordable for the quality.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night only but found the location is good as it is close to shops and station. The hotel has a good vibe and cleanliness. Staffs are friendly and there’s also a free shuttle bus to make it more convenient if you have large and many luggages. Would highly recommend!

I want to sincerely thank Mr. Sai for his outstanding service and dedication. Due to me an accidental booking error, our two rooms were booked on different floors. When I explained that my 73-year-old mother couldn’t stay alone, Mr. Sai personally stepped in to resolve the situation. Mr Sai handled the case with great care and understanding, ensuring that we were accommodated at the same floor which is Peak Period in Kyoto. His empathy, professionalism, and quick action turned a potential challenge into a stress-free experience for us. Thank you, Mr. Sai, for going the extra mile and showing such genuine concern. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The lobby and dining options has a nice touch to it. Room reservation was at a reasonable price too. Great dining options near the hotel if you fancy something else. All in all, would recommend this hotel. Would love to stay in this hotel again in the future for its location and service.
