Decent central location, clean, and nice staff, but seriously lacking in attention to detail and experience.
Good:
- checked us in early and had our bags in our rooms when we came back later
- staff are friendly
- Central location
- beds were comfortable
Not so good:
- it's "machiya style" design-wise, but cheaply done
- there's nowhere to eat breakfast downstairs, so you have to go to the buffet, get the food on a tray, get on the elevator and then somehow open your room door with a tray of food in your arms. Then you have to eat on a tiny table that is only suitable for one person, let alone the four people our reservation was for. Plus there are only two chairs in there anyway. At the very least they should provide a cart to bring your food back to your room.
- no rug/carpet so the floor gets dirty quickly
- emergency light by the door (probably a legal thing, but still) is always on so it's never really dark
- the electrical outlets are on sometimes and off sometimes, so they either have some electrical issue or it's a weird power-saving strategy. Either way, you can't depend on charging devices overnight.
Basically it's a good place to sleep, but other than that I can't really justify the price point.
