A downstairs one bedroom suite close to the main pool, clubhouse and fitness center. The unit has all the comforts of home and provides a great location for getting to everything in the Coachella Valley. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, a wall-mounted flat screen TV and a dining table with seating for six. The bedroom has a queen bed, TV and night stand and closet. The bathroom is ADA compliant with a walk-in shower, low vanity and additional storage cabinets. The back patio opens to a private courtyard within Legacy Villas. The patio has outdoor seating. The unit is a short-walk to the main pool, kids pool, fitness room and clubhouse. Off-street parking is located in front of the unit and additional parking is located along Classic Drive. The unit can be combined with LV018 to create a 2 bedroom unit with dual master suites (subject to availability). The condo has an interior lock-off door between the 1 bedroom and studio units. There is an expectation that guests minimize noise around the door from 10pm-8am.

Beautiful desert property

The condo was comfortable. The property was immaculate. Gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. The main pool and hammock area are fun for the kids. The restaurant on property is good for breakfast and lunch. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Hand held showerhead holder was broken on arrival therefore showering was difficult.for 4 days waiting for a part to repair it. Carpets were filthy. White socks soon were black from walking around the unit. Visible dirt in hard to reach areas of mirrors and counter tops. Mixed impression

When we arrived everything was clean and tidy. We immediately noticed there was no BBQ on the patio as shown in the pictures which was a major disappointment. The kitchen was limited in certain items, for example, there were only three glasses for water/juice and we ended drinking out of wine glasses (of which there were many). Also there were no basic supplies like tin foil, saran wrap, spices, etc, just a salt and pepper shaker and that was it. The door hiding the washer/dryer fell off its tracks whenever we opened it, and the AC was wildly inconsistent - either really cold or won't run at all. On a positive note, Legacy Villas has beautifully manicured grounds, many pools, workout facility, and within walking distance to several restaurants at La Quinta Resort. Overall really liked Legacy but not this specific unit.

Needs A Deep Clean and Maintenance

Management response was excellent; resort was beautiful. Bathroom and linens were clean, and kitchen well stocked except for silverware. Condo needed a Deep Clean!!: the carpet, furniture, faux plants, shelves, light fixtures, kitchen and patio. Maintenance and updating are also needed. There are DVD's, but DVD does not work. Foyer light does not work. Instructions for bedroom TV would be helpful.

A little crazy but it all played out perfectly

Waking up after our first night in the condo, we discovered a massive leak from the condo above us. I mean rushing water from their unit down in to our bathroom and unit. Incredibly prompt response from the host and maintenance and we were moved into a comparable unit in a just few hours. It could have been a nightmare but our host was FANTASTIC and helped us to enjoy a fabulous stay!

This property was excellent!

We stayed here for several days with two pre-teens and they loved it too. It was spacious, close to resteraunts and shopping and appropriately stocked as indicated in the listing. Refrigerator and freezer kept everything cold or frozen. The gym, pool and cabana were very nice. Wifi was great! It is a plus that this property is pet friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Great condo in a nice resort complex. Lots of pools. Lots of condo space for a one bedroom. Great communication with management company, super responsive and easy via text. Not far from Old Town and nearby hiking. Would definitely stay here again.

VERY LARGE COMPLEX

Legacy Villas is located in an ideal spot in La Quinta, right at the base of the mountains. The sprawling complex features a dozen pools and hundreds of living units. It would seem that if the place is even half-full that it would feel crowded - especially when even more people move in on the weekends. The grounds and facilities are maintained adequately, but the landscaping is not as lush as it once was. The unit we stayed in was comfortable (especially the bed), but the furnishings were somewhat dated. Overall, it was a sound value for the money.

This was not clean. The carpet was so dirty my feet were BLACK by the end of the day. Bugs in the pendant, over dinning table Coasters on coffee table had rings on them. Not enough towels. daily chore of doing laundry. door handles sticky silk plants full of dust back patio has not been sweep for a some time, full of leaves and dirt, debris dishwasher door broken. drops heavily at toward me. This place was dirty on the surface Im sure worse as you go deeper. It needs a deep clean had to buy paper towels in the kitchen lack of basic kitchen supplies, ie salt and pepper, mop no pool toys, floaties If you advertise close to pool. it should be supplied. Again my feet were BLACK by the end of the day!!!!

DISAPPOINTED

We have stayed at Legacy Villa's before and know that the development is very nice. This unit we rented leaves much to be desired however. It is not up to standards for cleaning. As an example, we thought of getting a pizza and keeping it warm in the lower over. When I pulled out the drawer, it was covered with grease. Disgusting. Dust on the furniture and my guess is that the carpets have not been cleaned for a very long time. As a person of detail, I notice things closley. The coffee table was badly scratched as was the dining room table. Just a little bit of stain would have made them look so much better yet alone any furniture polish. The bigger issue was the mattress. I would bet money that mattress is as old as the condo. I tried to sleep on the sleeper sofa in the living room but when we pulled it out and sat on it, the whole thing collapsed. The unit is broken and needs repair. There was no mattress pad or sanitary cover on that mattress so that is a negative as well with so many people using this condo. On a positive note, the kitchen is well appointed. Has everything one can need to cook if that is your pleasure while on vacation. The bathroom is ok. It needs a chair or bench despite that it is designed for a handicapped person. The shower apparatus is set way too low for most people unless of course you are handicapped. The decorations in this condo are very dated and not updated at all. If you like to read in bed, forget this place. There is only one lamp and nightstand. There is an overhead light in the ceiling fan but it is rather dull. We had to call the property manager to get some lightbulbs for the dining room and bathroom the were out. He promptly took care of sending someone but they did not have the proper bulbs for the bathroom. All in all, our stay was not a good one. There was no guide for the TV so it was hit and miss for the time we were there for four nights. We are scheduled for this unit in March and will cancel the reservation. We don't want to go through all this again. The owner has to realize that people expect cleanliness and a decent mattress to sleep on. The cleaning fee is a joke. Many people would overlook all these flaws but we don't. We expect a decent place for the money we provide. This unit needs a lot of TLC and upgrades to stay competitive in the rental marked at Legacy Villas.
