From the moment we entered the Georgian hotel it was a nightmare. We got there early and the room was not ready which we were prepared for. We went for lunch and almost immediately received the text that the room was ready. Once we headed back we went and got to the room. We had to carry all of our items up the stairs to our room on the second floor. Once in the room it smelt musty and old. Whenever I go to a hotel I like to clean the room with Lysol wipes as well as check the sheets. While cleaning with the wipes the furniture was dusty and the wipe was very dark as if someone did not clean and I regret that I did not take a picture of the wipe. However, once the room was wiped I checked the sheets. There were stains on the sheets that looked like blood and we notified the front desk immediately. They said they would send up sheets. This was at 2:08pm. They responded immediately. However around 2:30pm we were sent a mass text about using the text feature if we need anything. I responded asked about the sheets as we had yet to receive them. No one answered so we went down to house keeping ourselves to get new sheets. Once there we were told that they were coming and would change the sheets. I told them do not worry about it we will change it our selves as we had wasted a lot of time already when we wanted to enjoy our vacation. When we went to change the sheets we saw the most disgusting stain on the mattress cover that looked like a large dried blood spot. On the mat

PROS: The location is great. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The view of the mountains and lake are incredible. Most staff were very friendly. Dawn the redheaded woman was super nice and very informative. I believe the outdoor lunch waitress’ name was Stephanie. She was amazing. Plenty of parking underneath the property when the lot was full. Beds were comfortable. CONS: In room 157, the bathroom exhaust fan was not working. Any smells from the bathroom went into the small room because of no exhaust fan. Because of this I used the bathroom in the restaurant for 4 days. Texted front desk who said they’d notify maintenance but never heard back from anyone during the 4 day stay. Sink was clogged. Tub dripped when off. The sink was very low, as if it were built for a kid. Bathroom was old. Indoor restaurant staff were not attentive. An example was at the dinner buffet, dirty dishes built up at our table while servers were congregating and joking around with each other. Ate with the dirty dishes piled up on the table. Never cleared the table. Wife said the breakfast staff were not very attentive either. More pros than cons. Overall, the family enjoyed the stay.

I have nothing but good things to say about this resort I loved everything the day of my arrival I received a text message from them confirming my reservation and asking me if I needed anything to text back which I love that option of just texting if I need anything during my stay check in was easy and fast there’s plenty of parking my stay was from 8-18-2024 to 8-21-2024 (I did ended up leaving early but just because i wanted to beat traffic and I was missing my dog ) I got the lakeside suite room 225 that room was perfect it has a view to the lake the pool the bar the fireplace I tried breakfast and dinner at the gallery the food was awesome i enjoyed the freshly ground coffee my boys loved the heated pool there’s plenty of lounge chairs at the pool and by the lake the water at the lake was a bit cold though also I love that you can order food while at the pool and they bring it right to you same with drinks from the bar housekeeping got me fresh towels when I asked it’s a short walk from all the stores on the Main Street or the village as is called I just wish it would of been hot the days I was there since we got rain and it was a bit cold would definitely recommend this resort it’s family friendly I will try to come again in July of 2025 and hopefully I get the same room !! I also posted this review on google maps !! Also if it’s not much to ask please become pet friendly in the near future !!

My husband and I took a mini 3 day vacation at this resort. We were very pleased- they have everything onsite, pool, private beach, restaurant and outdoor bar. The location was excellent, an easy walk to Lake George village. We would definitely recommend this resort

The entire hotel was just great. It was very clean and staff was just great. The hotel was within walking to the shops n restaurant. The only thing i would not allow people to hand towels and stuff over the railings.

I liked the room, it was just redone and was very large. The pool was nice. The beach area was small. The beach bar was nice but the service was terrible. Our food took about a 45 minute wait and the food just ok. We ordered breakfast in our room and the breakfast sandwiches we very good and the coffee was good.

I was pretty disappointed upon arrival at this hotel. I had booked the room based on the images published on the Expedia booking site, which showed a renovated room without carpeting—a major reason for my choice, as I hate carpeting. Unfortunately, when we entered our room, it was nothing like what was advertised. The room was definitely not renovated; it smelled moldy, the bathroom tiles were coming off, and the space was claustrophobic for four people. I immediately messaged the reception, but they told me the hotel was sold out and couldn’t offer any help. While the facilities themselves are decent, they are in dire need of a major overhaul. Despite the awful room, I have to give credit where it’s due: the location is great. The hotel is on the main road, close to everything, and I loved being able to wake up at dawn (couldn't sleep anyway due to my frustration with the room) and take a walk along the lake.
