The initial young man who checked me in was terrific. He offered an upgraded room, for a fee, and we enjoyed it. A young lady whom I spoke at the front desk about getting housekeeping scheduled after the first two days was a bit condescending and not customer oriented as she was reluctant to make sure I was taken care of on this issue. The room was terrific, clean, and spacious with a great view on the 18th floor. I was shocked at the prices in the Ramsey restaurant and the dining room on the top floor. We went out to the local establishments instead. Way overpriced. Cocktails were upwards of $27 a piece. Just a silly waste of money. Daily parking of self parking of $20 on top of the daily resort fee of $27 made the good room deal not so good. It was a nice experience, even while under construction, due to the lake view from the 18th floor. But the extra added costs seemed too much.

Check-in and check out was very easy and straight forward. Convenient food options at the resort. There was definitely way more construction going on than I expected and I’m not sure what the resort fees were for other than for WiFi. I wish at the very least the gym was available because the one in harrah’s didn’t have too much equipment and can barely fit more than 3 to 4 people. I hope once the renovations are done it will look amazing.

Could hear booming club music in our room until 2am. Housekeeping was not consistent. Front desk does not answer their phones if you need anything. Lots of construction in the building occurring during our stay - pool/ hot tub closed - this was not easily advertised to us prior to booking our ski trip. Will not set foot in that place ever again.

There is temporary construction underway, so each of our concerns will likely to go away when current construction Phase is completed (June/July 2026). Overall, the price & location were great. We were there to ski, not rate a room. Having the adjacent options (Harrahs & others) offered alternate solutions to anything. It was a good trip. A) It was difficult to hear the concierge & hosts behind the counter at check-in. Loud lobby music echoing in the check-in area (perhaps to drown out construction noises) made for difficult conversing at check-in. B) Some 'To-Do items' needed fixing (pivot mirror, shower door mounts, refrigerator door) C) calling 'front desk' from the room, connected us to general customer service lines in other places (location TBD) D) casino space was limited due to construction

The suite itself was great. It was clean, spacious, smoke free, and had an incredible lake view. No complaints there. That said, the rest of the property is a different story. The common areas smelled strongly of cigarette and marijuana smoke, and parts of the hotel are still under renovation. It also felt a bit frustrating to be charged a daily resort fee when there really aren’t any meaningful amenities open during renovations to justify it. Location is a plus, though. It’s an easy walk to the gondola, which makes getting on the mountain convenient. If you can overlook the smoke and the ongoing updates, it’s still a decent value for the price.
