Did not know hotel was under remodeling. The lobby and surrounding areas were a mess and hard to find where you were suppose to go. More importantly it was very very hot in the lobby, casino and rooms
AC could not be set properly! The whole Hotel was under construction and nobody mentioned it when I booked! Staff were rude and lied that they removed the resort charges when they did not !They were supposed to credit my resort fees because of construction and Hot tub was broke! What a joke of a hotel!
Property should have let the people know it was under construction

Under Construction
The place was under heavy construction, the dust, noise, service made this a less than desirable experience. They should disclose the rennovations in progress i could have stayed elsewhere.
Property is undergoing MAJOR renovations. Nothing is mentioned on website or when booking. Place is barely open and many amenities are unavailable or closed. The commercial trucks begin backing up (beep - beep- beep) at about 5:30am and the drilling, hammering, and jackhammering start aroung 8:30am. Dont count on getting much sleep. Requested housekeeping after two days of a four day stay, as we were running out of towels, etc. Asked at front desk at 9AM by $pm they had not arrived. Called housekeeping and they said would be there in 20 minutes... they arrived about 4 hours later.
They did not hesitate to charge $30.72 a day in resort fees. when I asked that the resort fees be refunded since most of the resort was closed/unavailable/inaccessable I was told "that fee is for the wifi." Thats expensive wifi!
Had been a loyal Harveys visitor since the late 1970's and am unlikely to be back ever.
The GREED of this hote in UNBELIEVABLE. AVOID THIS PLACE. It is currently under construction, which made it very difficult to navigate. EVERYTHING was covered in Drywall dust, which I believe requires a dust mask when sanding, yet you are expected to breathe it in while checking in. We slipped on the dust in one of the hallways while goinf back to our room. They were supposed to stop working at 3pm but went after. The worst part, and I'm still stunned and FURIOUS about it, they started working at 7am and JACK HAMMERING by 8am. WE HAD NO WARNING ABOUT THIS AT ALL! WE COULDNT CHECK OUT FAST ENOUGH! UN FREAKIN BELIEVEABLE! We spoke with many other guests and nobody was told what was happening there. I went back and checked on Hotels.com and on the Harveys website and NO MENTION AT ALL. Had we known we would've stayed across the street. I believe the hotel management know this and thats why we were duped. GREED.
Easy parking. Was in reconstruction mode so property was a bit messed up. Had to go elsewhere for breakfast and lunch.

They were undergoing a major renovation that affected check in, casino, the Starbucks. I’m sure it will be nice when it’s done. It was probably stated somewhere but I still don’t see a posting on Expedia warning about the resort fee of $30 daily. I would stay again because of its proximity to the ski area.
