I enjoyed my honeymoon stay and there were no hidden fees. The stay was pleasant because I got to spend well needed time with my spouse and no one bothered us. We got the honeymoon suite from Garden of Eden Apple and the room and all it entailed was just a wow for me. I particularly liked the fact that they plan daily activities so we wouldn’t be bored. I didn’t like the fact that the dinner menu was the saaaaame thing everyday with 1 slight variation on Saturdays or Sundays can’t remember. We stayed 5 days and got bored of dinner. It’s all you can eat and you can’t leave with anything except desert. We had to call multiple times for maid service and clean towels but they eventually came and I will be going back for sure

Great place, but could be much better.
This place was everything I thought it would be and more. I will definitely be returning. However there were a few small issues. The biggest one was the fact that the bed rolls away from the headboard. My wife and I tried to cuddle up in bed to watch a movie and we could not sit up against the headboard at all without the bed sliding away causing all the pillows and almost ourselves to fall in between. Second, we ordered lunch to be delivered to the suite. After calling 3 times(no answer the first two, then called the front desk and they put me thru to an actual person) I was on hold for what felt like 10 minutes before I could put my order in. They said it would take 45 minutes for delivery as they were very busy, no problem. However when the food finally arrived it was cold, like it had been sitting out waiting for someone to bring it up. Finally, when housekeeping came in with fresh towels and to refill our little coffee station, they saw that we had used the regular coffee and not the decaf. What did they do? Replaced the missing regular coffee with more decaf. I couldn't believe it. They either weren't thinking at all, or just didn't care. I called the front desk and they did take care of it rather quickly. Within I'd say 30 minutes there was a knock at the door like the police serving a warrant, and around the outside handle was a bag with regular coffee pods in it. This place is great, but for the money they charge, they could put more effort into the little things.

The wildlife around the area was wonderful and the night time employee who checked us in was very nice and helpful, as well as the woman who worked the gift shop. We stayed in one of the rooms with the heart shaped whirlpool tub and were really looking forward to using it but then we noticed that the jets for the tub looked extremely dirty, as if they hadn’t been cleaned in some time. We ran a towel across the jets and the towel had a brown residue on it after. Needless to say we did not use the tub after that, which was extremely disappointing as we were really looking forward to that. The next morning at checkout we brought this up to a supervisor and showed her pictures of the jets and she looked at the photos, asked what our room number was, and then walked away, and didn’t follow up with us after that.

This place was beautiful, me and my bf really enjoyed it as his birthday get away. It was so romantic and our room was amazing. lots of reviews said it was outdated and old looking but our room was perfect. The buildings themselfs do look old and outdated but it was very clean. There was deers evrywhere and we got to feed them. They had activities to do evryday so you didnt have to leave for anything. Only issue was food , not alot of options. Spooners saved us lol fast and easy place to eat. Breakfast was free but dinner was not.
