We visited from Ireland, along with our friends from Maryland, at the end of June. The hotel was lovely and perfect for our trip to Lancaster and visiting the Amish Country. The hotel has a quirky steamboat design (tribute to the designer of the steamboat) and elegant southern style. The rooms were also elegantly styled and very clean and comfortable. The restaurant served a really nice breakfast and the bar also served nice food + had a good range of drinks. The barman very kindly let me sample a local beer to see if I liked it. There is also a gift shop on site and an indoor pool, which was a hit with the kids. There is a duck pond and play park outside too. There are gas stations nearby, plus Tanger outlets and some food outlets. There is a Target close by too (next to the Amish Farm) and it is handy to Dutch Wonderland theme Park (a great trip for the family). It is a short drive into Lancaster and also well situated for a drive to Litiz (really worth a visit) and Strasbourg (which has the steam train railway ... also well worth doing). This was our first time in Pennsylvania and will definitely be back.

We had a beautiful room. My only complaint was that we didn’t know that Huckleberry’s was closed Sunday evenings. I was looking forward to a filet mignon ;-) The chocolate chip cookies were a delicious treat though.

Everything was great. The room and food was excellent. My only issue was the shower floor was extremely slippery. It wasn’t from soap or any products, just how the shower was. Just be careful and try to hold onto the wall while taking a shower or you could fall. However, I would still absolutely stay here again. The decorations were so pretty and the bartender at the tavern was very friendly.

Wish I can give this property ten stars! I only stayed for one night but would love to come back again for a longer stay. It was perfect from checkin till checkout. Please look on google for my full review. But in a nutshell. The staff, the property, the attention to detail, the room, the pool was absoultely wonderful! I cannot think of one single negative thing. Cant wait to go back!

Ahoy matey! (Or something like that) . Haha. One night stay. The steamboat theme : love it or hate it. Personally, I thought it was silly when I walked in but got used to it by the time I left the next day. The rooms are super clean. Good water pressure in the shower. The towels and sheets are above average , in fact the bath towels are exceptionally plush. Rarely seen these days. The TV gives you hundreds of choices and the WiFi works well. Fitness room is a couple treadmills and exercise bikes but that is the standard. The pool is small but appears to be very well maintained. They have a hot tub too that looked inviting. Also feature an adult 10p-midnight swim. Ate breakfast in the huckleberry restaurant, they do breakfast very, very well. I say that because so many places are borderline passable. This place churned out some quality eggs and omelettes cooked perfectly. Fresh veggies. Crisp bacon. Prices not crazy either. Service was very good. I would stay here again.
