Great hotel, unexpected in many ways!
I stay at a lot of hotels and am rarely pleasantly surprised by how great a place is, but Hotel Rock Lititz really exceeded my expectations. First of all, it's basically in a dairy pasture, so you don't know where you're headed until you're right up at the whole Rock Lititz complex. Second, the theme is brilliant. Staff is well trained and friendly, but not cloying. The room had lots of well-thought-out details (like true room darkening curtains, a steamer in the closet, built-in safe, fridge, microwave) that I appreciated as a frequent traveler. I only got to spend one night and didn't have much downtime, but I hope to return to the hotel another time to check out the restaurant and some of the surrounding attractions.

Clean property with easy parking, bikes to use, a nice pool, corn hole, and on site restaurant & gourmet coffee. More eco-friendly than most hotels. Easy drive to downtown Lititz where there are many shops and restaurants. Wonderful bakery 1block away. We will be back.

Great staff at the bar. Cool story about the place. Staging grounds for bands going on tour. Multiple studios. The only negative thing is the door to the bathroom. Not sure if they are all line that, but using a barn door for a bathroom door doesn't offer much in the way of privacy.

The room was well decorated. Towels are super nice. There are pool tables and other games in the lobby. Onsite restaurant has long service hours. Hotel itself is in excellent condition. It has an high end feel.

Clean and comfortable hotel
The check in was not the best experience as the young lady at the desk ignored us for several minutes while she paged through a binder. She finally looked up and seemed as though we were an annoyance. We noticed she ignored the guests in front of us in the same manner. This was disappointing as we read quite the opposite was to be experienced per their website. Other than that we loved the hotel. It was clean and comfortable. We had a few drinks at Per Diem and the bartenders were friendly. We rented 2 rooms and came home to find a third room charge on our credit card (credit card company actually called us to question 3 of the same charges). I called and they did remove the third charge however this also seemed an annoyance with no apology or concern. The good outweighed the bad and we all agreed we would try it again in the future.

What a wonderful place. Walking into the hotel was just so inviting and friendly. Staff great. Everyone smiling and even though the restaurant is not own by the hotel, they were amazing as well. The decor was amazing. Would travel outside of Lancaster to stay here even if I’m not doing anything in Lititz
