Great location right in the middle of quaint shops and restaurants. Breakfast was minimal but coffee was good. Could have used a better pillow. Overall nice hotel and would stay there again.

This is the former Robert E Lee hotel, which is what it still says above the door, making it a bit hard to find. The staff is friendly and the lobby is pretty. The rooms are a bit worse for wear — brown carpet on the floor and felt a bit in need to renovation. But the bathroom was redone very nicely and the room was clean. Very convenient to W&L and all the shops downtown.

Everything previous reviews stated are true. Rooms, at best, are ok. I’ve had much better at holiday Inn. Breakfast well below average considering room rate. Would not stay there again

Convenient to downtown Lexington
Older hotel that recently went an ownership change. Kind of pricey for what one got- a room with a bed and bathroom but it is in a college town over a weekend. Convenient to everything in Lexington. Nice bar and restaurant that closed kind of early. My only complaint is there was maybe 1-2 power outlets in the room, with none near the night stand to charge a phone. Hope they can remedy that with the renovations.

Quaint historical hotel in the heart of Lexington. Breakfast was ok. Just bagels, instant oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, coffee and juice. Hotel was clean. Would stay again.

Beautiful historical lobby including 2 telephone booths. The grab and go breakfast area had good coffee and a variety of options for a quick bite. A number of restaurants and bakeries are minutes away in this easily walkable town. Very clean and comfortable room.

Quaint hotel with classic vibes. If you have a room near the rear of the hotel you will hear the garbage truck dumping the dumpsters in the AM. Sound machine would have fixed that.

It was an old hotel that had been nicely restored. Very quiet and felt safe and could walk to shops and restaurants. The restaurant on the hotel balcony was enjoyable.

Great check in experience! I was thrilled when I realized we could check in early. It was an absolute wonderful experience! I was so happy with our rooms and the restaurant is a great option. Good food, great service and nice atmosphere! Loved it. Enjoyed staying there and it is right in the middle of shops, restaurants and close to VMI/W & L.

Very good location but room was just good. Carpets a little dingy. Bathroom had waterfall showerhead and nice size. Parking behind hotel was very tight. Excellent proximity to Lex restaurants, shops and W&L campus. Check- in desk staff not very welcoming or friendly.
