I love that It was centrally located. The mattress was terrible, the wind howls through the hallways, making it difficult to sleep. There was a roach in our room. The carpets need cleaning. The tub/shower needs updating, the plug was not working. The rooms are not cleaned daily.

In general, the stay was pleasant but there were issues which can definitely be improved. There were lot of hidden fees. I ended up paying $300 more for resort fee and wifi. This was not evident when I booked the hotel. Not sure if it is Expedia issue or Hilton issue but recommend to have it shown upfront while booking. The bathroom designs were bad. It had no doors or shower curtains. Whenever we took bath, all the water pools up outside the bath area and we had to clean it up. Very bad design. Recommend to at least have shower curtains in these open bathroom designs.

Truly beautiful property right next to the ocean. We could walk to the beach within 1 minute. Little spots to go snorkeling in and watch the sunrise. Very, very beautiful. Nice staff. Clean. Loved it. This was my 2nd time staying here.

Good location not too far from the airport and by a swimmable and calm beach. The facilities itself is okay. The rooms are older and do not have good circulation. Seems that the hours of staff are cut as the concierge or housekeeping isn’t always available. An okay/good experience with the access to the beach.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the A/C worked great. The bathroom was clean. They had a new TV that you can easily connect to. Amazing views. Staff were ready to help and very nice.

Pros: Beautiful view of the ocean and the hotel had a convenient location just off the Kuhio highway. The hotel had a nicely equipped gym. The bar and grill area had good entertainment by local artists and was situated on the property by the ocean front. The location was proximal to the Lyngate park and its running trails. The air conditioning in the room was adequate. Cons: The room we stayed in was outdated with old carpeting, and there was no light in the desk area, which made it impossible to do work at the desk area in the evening. When we asked for a desk lamp, we were told that it was not possible to provide one. We were disappointed by the number of cockroaches in the room, and once found a lizard on the furniture. The laundry room was out of service, which meant that we had to go into town to do laundry. We did not expect to pay a daily parking fee in the rural area the hotel is located. In summary, we do not plan to stay at this facility again. If the facility is renovated, it would be under our consideration because of the beautiful location.

Our room had carpet and it was wet when we checked in. It was the only place we stayed in Kauai that was soooo damp inside that our swimming suits wouldn’t dry. Beach there is ok. Can only swim in the enclosed area . It was fine for a one night as we moved around the island. Parking is 25 per day
