Great place!!
I’ve never stayed on the north side of the lake, really great little area. The house was fantastic and the owners are very nice. And we had a small issue with a water leak and they were on top of it right away. Awesome communication from them.

Superb location and nice place, but needs some enhancements
I'll just say up front that I did let the owner and secondary manager know about the issues/suggestions we had and they did respond, but only a future guest will be able to know if action was taken to improve the experience going forward. We arrived later in the evening and found SO MANY mosquitos flying around the house and lots of spider webs filled with dead mosquitos in the high parts of the ceiling. We spent a good hour smashing as many as we could with brooms so we wouldn't get bitten while we slept. We also found that the newly renovated kitchen hadn't been hooked up properly (the garbage disposal didn't work, and there was not any ice or drinking water in the fridge). Because we arrived so late, we understandably did not hear from the secondary manager, Chelsea, until the morning. She was super responsive and sent over ice, ice trays and bottled water to get us through our stay since the repair person couldn't come until after our departure. She also came over and knocked down the webs and sprayed for mosquitos to prevent further mosquito invasions, and she left some large citronella candles for us. I appreciate Chelsea's responsiveness so much, but it was disappointing to check in with so many things overlooked. Overall, this is a nice, roomy home that is great for a family or group. The location is amazing, we enjoyed fishing and swimming right off the dock. It would be good to have kid friendly dishes in the kitchen and more comfortable pillows.

Indian Lake Fishing Tournament
Perfect location. The boat ramp was within walking distance and we loved being able to dock the boat at the house and the boat lift. House was very comfortable and we loved the water view. The property manager, Aaron was very helpful and responded to our questions in a very timely manner. We would stay here again.

Relaxing Fishing Weekend
Location was perfect for our group. Although the lake was not in great shape for fishing, we were able to make the best of the weekend. Having the slip available out back and plenty of bed space, this place met all of our needs! Will certainly consider coming back in the future.

My friends and I had been to this location before. Great house and location. Just some small things we noticed this time, that we did not notice the second time. There were dirty/rusty dishes put away, ants in the kitchen/living area, and the oven smoked when in use (caused the fire alarms to go off when cooking). The great things about this house outweighed the bad by a long shot. Small things that can be fixed. But very much recommend this house. Great stay.

Wonderful family getaway at the lake
We loved our time at Chippewa lake cottage. There were 16 of us plenty of room. Bed were all very comfortable. Even the pull out sofa beds. The kitchen was nicely supplied. We really appreciated the extra refrigerator in the storage shed and all the extras in the storage shed to be used by the house visitors. Thank you so very much for letting stay here we had a blast!! We rented a pontoon boat and appreciates the boat lift

I LOVED the PROPERTY! BUT THERE WAS BARELY ANY HEAT! IT NEVER GOT HIGHER THAN 70 DEGREES. WE ALL CAME HOME SICK. WITH THAT ARCTIC BLAST.... I HAD TO GO & BUY 2 SPACE HEATERS & QUILTS. SPENT $140 JUST TO STAY WARM. ON TOP OF LEAVING THE OVEN DOOR OPEN ON 425 DEGREES THE WHOLE TIME. IF THE HEAT OR THAT PROPANE FIREPLACE WORKED... I'D GIVE IT A BUNCH OF THUMBS UP. I CANNOT RETURN WHILE ITS COLD.

Girls weekend getaway
Lots of room for a girls weekend. Great amenities, kitchen fully stocked and nice patio area to drink your morning coffee and watch the ducks. Only suggestion is bring bottled water for drinking as the water was pretty high in sulfur. Thanks for a great stay!

This property had everything and more. The space was bigger than appears online. All the amenities you would want. There were 10 adults and we never felt crowded. Check in was a breeze. We loved the lift for our boat too. Everyone had a fantastic time!!

This was our first time to Indian Lake. What a beautiful area to vacation. We were so pleased with the property. The home has everything you could possibly need. The check in process was extremely easy.. Since we weren’t familiar with the area the host answered many of our questions . Thank you for letting us stay at your home. I’m certain we will be back.

Spacious cottage with many amenities
We loved the well-equipped kitchen with its full spice rack and cabinets packed with those essentials you don't want to bring along (sugar, cooking oil; they even had Stevia for my coffee). The pool table was a huge draw, as were the many flatscreen TVs with Rokus for streaming. The kids loved the XBox, too. And if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic, we would have loved to make use of the extra sofabeds and the bunk beds in the loft by inviting friends to join us. The owners were communicative and helpful. We did end up leaving early because the sink and shower water had a persistent, unpleasant smell, and we had hoped there would be better swimming capabilities off the dock (it's really not a great swimming area, given the shallow depth, mucky bottom and significant marina traffic through the narrow channel), so future renters should be forewarned about these issues, but the cottage itself is very nice.
