Overall the property & staff were exceptional. The only issue I had was the shuttle service. I had to call the hotel three times. It was well over an hour before the shuttle made it to us (third time we saw him). The other two times he wasn't even in the lane to pick us up. It was very frustrating.

If you are sensitive to mold/musty smell- do not stay here. We had an overnight layover and checked in late at night, the room smelled horrible (room 405). Tried to air it out, left the door open for over an hour and it didnt make much of a difference. I requested a different room and it wasn't any better. Slept a few hours and left as soon as possible. On the other hand, the front desk staff was very kind and the breakfast was decent.

The hotel was clean, new, and had everything needed. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and made the stay pleasant. Shuttles to and from the airport were smooth and the drivers friendly and helpful. For one of the cheaper hotels near LAX (and they are not cheap!) I was pleasantly surprised.
