I stayed at Sonesta Miami, it was amazing, free late check out, food was delicious, staff was amazing. Sonesta Select in El Segundo on the other hand looked like a different branch. I paid for breakfast on my reservation, breakfast was a bagel, juice and cereal, for 23 dollars, late check out was an extra 30 and a parking fee of 30 dollars. Not a great experience, not staying there again

#1. Well the associate at the front desk attempted to charge me for an early check in and I let her know that I called prior to and received clearance to come between 2-3 to get a room with no additional fee. #2. My first night someone was banging on my door just after midnight witha food delivery. #3. My bathtub was backing up #4. The hallway had an awful odor #5. I wasnt able to get a food delivery directly to my room eventhough no key card was needed to go upatairs and I was not informed of this prior. I wasnt feeling well and had just had a medical procedure which was the reason for my trip. I found it strange that I couldn't get food delivered but someone was delivering food for someone and woke me up out of my sleep. #6 I had someone try to enter my room on another occasion during my stay This whole stay was just horrible. As a solo traveler it was alarming for safety reasons

Front desk staff was unprofessional and rude. In addition, $30.00 per night for parking was ridiculous! In addition, I was never informed of such a fee, nor did I read it anywhere. I will be waiting patiently for my $150.00 "incidental " charge to be reimbursed. All in all a horrible experience.

Short stay at this location but it was an absolute joy. Friendly staff and convenient location, it was peaceful and enjoyable. I would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

The listing is misleading. There is NOT a restaurant. This is falsely advertised. There is an option to purchase breakfast in the morning only. The room was filthy and the bed was uncomfortable. The hallway carpet is also filthy and has a bad smell. I would NOT stay here again.

Shuttle service was awful
Website said there was free shuttle from airport to hotel. Landed, picked up baggage and called hotel for shuttle. After 3 more phone calls, we were picked up 90 minutes after the first call. It was a 1.5 mile trip that was not walkable due to the tunnel under the airport. I would have ordered an Uber or taxi if I wasn’t reassured after each phone call that we would be picked up shortly. The next morning, leaving via shuttle to the airport waa fine. However, we had planned to eat at the hotel cafe right at 6am and depart via shuttle at 0630. The person opening the cafe turned the lights on at 0605 and then disappeared until 0620. It was okay because we did not want to give this hotel any more of our business. We wish we had paid a few dollars more and stayed elsewhere.
