Super cool experience! We stayed the night before we boarded the cruise beside The Queen Mary. Our flight was super delayed, and we didn't get to our room until after 5:00 am, so we slept in a bit. Really wish we had a lot more time to explore the ship, we did for about an hour before we left, and it was awesome, definitely recommend!

Our stay at the Queen Mary was so great! If you don't like history or historical vintage things, you won't like it. She's 90 years old! And if anything has been replaced, it's been replaced with fixtures from the same era. It's incredible the way they just keep polishing the brass and wood! It's like a floating museum - there are display cases everywhere with original items (in our room, there was a piece of fancy wood covering what we assumed was a hole where something used to be - we found out from vintage pictures that it had been a clock like the one pictured in one of the display cases!) We loved staying there. They do tours which are led by very interesting, knowledgable historians. Breakfast in the cafe was delicious.

The staff was very nice. The room however was not what I expected. I reserved twin beds but got a king. This room was an EXTREMELY HOT inside room. We turned the thermostat to auto from fan hoping that would help and left to explore and have dinner. Several hours later.. no improvement. Called the desk .. they sent a small floor fan then maintenance finally fixed it. Also this room was huge. However it had only a bed, tv on the opposite wall, 1 nightstand, I round table with two chairs. No vanity or other furniture at all. It looked only partly furnished, and totally unwelcoming. No usb ports. This is something that should be told beforehand. Luckily I had one with a plug.

Love this ship and all the history around it but the cabin was so very cold— I slept fully dressed to try and stay warm ! In spite of extra blankets ! I was still cold -If it was warmer it would be a truly amazing experience
