Very dirty, smelled bad, no cleaning service. Did not have hot water for 2 days, and 1 day with no water. Horrible experience!!

This hotel is very sketchy. When I went to check in there was no one at the front desk or in the lobby at all for almost 10 minutes. Finally someone who worked there came to the desk to check me in. There is no air in the lobby so it is very hot and they have many bug zappers that go off loudly when killing bugs. The room I was in had dust on most surfaces and mosquitoes flying around. There was no hot water and when I let the front desk staff know they told me someone was working on it and it would be working in about 2 hours. Longer than 2 hours later and the hot water was still not working and the front desk said they had texted me to say it would be another hour. I never got any text. Later that night there was a couple yelling outside my room very aggressively at each other. I did not feel safe at all and left that night. I expressed my concerns to the manager and he did not want to refund me for my stay since I was choosing to check out early. I will not ever stay here again and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Unless you are used to breathing in black mold and watching it grow on the ceiling as it sags down then this is the place for you. Or maybe the striped cars in the parking lot remind you of home. Used to not having any hot water? Then you will be right at home. Otherwise, stay far far away from this one.

Worst hotel ever. Expedia should remove this hotel from their website as it is spoling your reputation. I just stayed for one day and left next morning as I reached at 1 am. I didn’t get option to stay anywhere else same night otherwise I would have not even spent a night. The A/C was not working. They didn’t even had fans. Had to spent a night with no fan no ac and we (my 4 year old daughter, my wife and myself) could hardly sleep as it was so hot that night. Even if someone ask me stay in this hotel for free, I would never. Please avoid this hotel.

Stayed 3 nights at Vanllee. The property is right next to freeway. There are people constantly roaming around the parking lot( not security but low lifes). People in their cars sitting for hours? Drug deal or prostitution. People wait by the locked gate just waiting for you to go in so they can access the property. The breakfast is a complete joke. It appears that people are living at the Vanllee long term as their are balconies with items that only tenants would have. There are even abandoned cars in the parking lot. This hotel would be best served burned to the ground.

Unsafe
Got bug bites. Very scary inside and out. Did not feel secure. Was sold as a 3 star hotel however it should be rated as a 1 star. Looks very nice in pictures but the reality is the opposite. Broken down cars with no tires in the parking lot on blocks.

The front desk staff are very nice and welcoming and always ready to help with any problem or questions you may have. I love coming to the Vanllee it's cozy and a nice place to escape too. I recommend the vannllee to any traveler looking for a decent place to stay with affordable rates.
