Worst Hotel... I want a Refund!
No housekeeping, unclean, smelled. Breakfast was from 6-9 was never ready until after 6:30 if that. Never any butter. Food ran out by 8 AM. Bedbugs in room. Was bitten and had to go to Urgent Care when I arrived home. Have photos of bites and doctors notes. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

The entire hotel smelled of old cigarette smoke and especially my "non-smoking" room. There were no blackout drapes so the ambient lighting from outside was in the room all night long. The included breakfast was just carbohydrates and bad carbs at that. No protein to be found. Better not to offer it than to offer junk. I wasn't expecting the Ritz. But you need a fill cigarette smoke mitigation effort and install blackout drapes.

it took over an hour to get me checked in after 2 o’clock into one of my two rooms. The second room took another hour …in the first room , the freezer part of refrigerator was so full of ice. I couldn’t put anything in there and everything I put in the refrigerator froze. In the second room, there was no refrigerator and there was no way to turn the light on as you walked in the door .. no refrigerator either …this morning at 7:30 in the morning even though I had a, do not disturb sign on both of our doors. They kept knocking at the door saying they wanted to come in to clean the room. quite frankly, I really want a refund. I took pictures of everything and if you like me to share them with The World, I will or share them with you, but I really think it’s time to refund all of the money that I spent on these two rules that were awful another thing they were people smoking outside the front door all over the place and people that were partying and being loud, and a couple of times next to our rooms in the hallway people yelling at each other. This is not a place I’d want to be the other thing. Is the people walk around that work here on their cell phones the whole time I have pictures and videos of them doing nothing and talking on their phones when they’re supposed to be cleaning up and they’re standing there on their cell phones. There are terriblepeople working there so can I expect a refund?

Needs some tlc
Let us begin with the good. The hotel was quiet and it was a fairly easy check-in and check out. TV and fridge were all working as well as the bathroom and shower. There were plenty of towels as well.Things that need to be improved on were the sheets and blankets very old questionable with cigar burns. The shower had red stains on it not clean. The rug was full of stains. The curtains had a big spill on it. Overall...it was ok but not a restful night

Price was better than some nearby motels.
In general the room was adequate, cheaper than some surrounding places and convenient to the airport.Could have been cleaner. There was no chair at the desk for doing computer work. When I arrived before check-in time I was told rather indifferently and sullenly that I had to come back at noon. (I have a hearing loss and he had an accent which lead me to mis-hear him the first time.) I did that and he said, "I told you 2:00" in a very accusative and rude voice.

This is now my go-to hotel in Manchester. Very nice, affordable, clean rooms. Most especially, all the staff are hospitable, efficient, and genuinely interested in guest satisfaction.

Hire a competent cleaning staff.
Check in was fine - Akeem was great to deal with even when there was a question regarding rates between my booking and what his screen was showing. However, it got bad after that. There was hair in the sink, trash in the bin, a towel behind the door, and the window was taped with duct tape from cracking - not exactly the picture of safety and cleanliness.
