Hot water was limited for bathing, room phone didn’t work, uneven steps, my sister fell and hurt her leg. The fire alarm system kept going off these alarm were false and kept waking us up at nights, music was loud on the weekends and went till late at nights. The shower was unsafe, there was nowhere to to hold unto if you should slip and nowhere to put the soap. I will never go back there or recommend anyone to stay there. The food and staff services was great.

The shower was a no no for us. Using the shower the floor was wet, and that was a huge red flag. We were at risk for fall/ injury the tiles were slippery. Also we were no able to use the Tv for what reason i know, and other users were very noisy .

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the rooms - the food / restaurant staff were great as well as the reception. On the other hand the hotel was noisy on the weekends with loud music far into the early morning. The noise wasn’t contained as it was loud music in the courtyard. The neighborhood was equally very noisy for three nights into the early mornings with night club music or church over loud speakers. One night an alarm went off at 4:15am and loudly rang 25 minutes. No apologies were made for all these noises. The corridors were not cleaned and when it rained it was wet and there was no clean up of the standing water. The hotel has many uneven steps throughout the building and the alert notices were badly placed as they were hidden and effaced in many places. I, a client fell and sustained a nasty blow on my leg at one of these uneven steps. The hotel staff was helpful and offered taking me to the hospital the next day in case my pain and swelling persisted. They also had a first aid ket and offered help with icing of my swollen leg. They also apologized. My leg pain is a bit less at this point and I’ll go for an X-ray now that I’m back in the US. Some of the rails on the verandas / corridors are shaking and therefore unsafe. For the amount of money paid for this hotel - is not justified based on the many issues mentioned. There wasn’t even an iron ( must request one) There was no microwave.. no coffee pot or even complimentary tea or coffee.

It was a horrible stay at the golf view . The bathroom and toilet was dirty they need to upgrade . The breakfast was prepared only for their nationality dish. There is people from different countries and no other options to eat they should improve to make international dishes

Had a wonderful stay at Golfview. The staff were friendly and accomedating. The room was nice modern and clean.The food was so good. You get the real authenthic Jamaican dishes full of flavour. Food was much better than the resort I stayed at before in Ocho rios. We had a few minor issues which were resolved quickly. My only compaint was one missing blinds in the bathroom window. I had to hang towels in order to get privacy. I asked for one but was told I wasnt going to get it that night and that was the end of it. Our bathroom faced another hotel with a lot of windows so i didnt feel like I had much privacy with the blinds being missing. Other than that I would definitely recommend Golfview

I’m sure I’ll get her wrong but on the day of check in she was a sweetheart with a bright smile and an big personality my partner and I really could not stop talking about how down to earth she was but professional at the same time. Asheka. She was really nice. I was not sure of the location when I got there as I grew up in Mandeville the same area but when the gates opened up and I realised how secured it was I felt good. My first impression of the property was ok nice and the room also nice.
