We were excited to stay here for the attached Waterpark. I regretted my decision as soon as we arrived into our room. The room was 305 with a view looking into the side of the Waterpark, not pretty but not life altering. However, the room was freezing but only put out cold air. We called the front desk and they delivered a heater which helped thank goodness. Until then the kids were sitting freezing in the cold room just coming back from swimming, we even gave them a hot bath to warm them up. Even me in my jeans and sweater found it cold and I usually like hotel rooms to be on the chilly side. The toilet barely flushed and ran constantly, we didn’t call about that, we lived with it since we were only here for the night. However then we were woken up by maintenance first thing in the morning to have it fixed. Not sure why they would bother guests and just take the room out of rotation and fix it when we check out? Lastly the Waterpark was nice but the only adult slide was broken and the hot tub wasn’t working. Lastly although there are food options on site which I thought would be convenient the one we tried closed at 10 for food and didn’t deliver. We ended up having to leave the pool early to go order our food and stand there with cold, wet children to get our food. I would not stay here and probably wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. I would save my money and stay across the street. The room was very pricey and wasn’t worth at all for what you got.

Checked in today. The room is great. However the water slide wasn’t working, splash pad freezing cold and no hot tub working. The hot tub was colder than the pool. Not ideal for small kids.

I decided to surprise my 8 year old daughter with a New Year’s Getaway and this is where we went. It’s the perfect place to relax, eat, sleep and entertain one’s children. We never left the property because everything we needed was right there. We will be returning soon.

Staff was friendly, rooms were decent but the main attraction of the pool/waterpark was awful! You pay extra to stay in a hotel that doesn’t offer continental breakfast, but is supposed to have a fantastic water park and then come to find out that you now have to pay an extra $10USD per person to use the water slides and Then the hot tub that’s included in the hotel fees is lukewarm, at best. The bathroom and change rooms were DISGUSTING. I highly doubt we’d cons back, which is too bad because it used to be one of our favourite road trips.

The hotel was is very big with many floors. During my stay i had my jacuzzi in my room and there was a leak under it or something so the floor was soaked. I told the people at the desk and asked for towels and that was it. It seemed like they knew about it already because they didn't seem shocked. And the hot tub in the pool yard was available but it was as warm as the pool so that was disappointing.

Hotel itself is clean and your average hotel room wise. If you request rooms together you have to call the hotel, do not do via the hotels app. It is not the hotel and they don’t see any messages you send. The hot tub heater was broken but being fixed. The small kids area that is half the water park is freezing temps. Most kids ended up with a rash from the pool, everyone’s skin felt quite raw. Lazy river is fun, big water slide too! Arcade is good. Service for breakfast at Aaltos is awful, however the lady could be burnt out as she was the only really. Overall kids had fun, parents survived!

The biggest issue for our family, children ages 5 and 2, is that the pool was so cold. The play structure part was ice cold, the play pool and lazy river were bearable for a short time, and the kiddie pool seemed to be the warmest. When you look around and see that most kid’s teeth are chattering/blue lips, one would think that the facility would make some changes.

Nice to have the water park however the water in the pool was way too cool and the hot tub was lukewarm. The breakfast buffet at Altos was very good and well priced. The deluxe room was very spacious and ample parking available. Nice and close to shopping and other restaurants

Rooms need to be repainted to touch up the areas they have fixed from water damage. For the price we paid for the room and water park the hot tub was luke warm, honestly that was the coldest hot tub I have ever been in. Also the price of everything the whole pool/water park was cold, what you charge people for a hotel room and to go swimming everything should be hot/warm water so the kids can enjoy swimming
