I unfortunately got a room next to a couple whom were arguing, clearly had been drinking, and somewhat felt unsafe (recorded just in case). As well as being charged for my SD because I did not have “Documentation” when SD’s do not NEED documentation. Per ADA, a business is not allowed to ask for documentation nor decline stay due to not having “proof”. A SD is a SD for a reason, whether training by the owner or professionally.

Great place and very accommodating. Manager Debbie Underberg was there and checked me in. My request for an easy access was perfect. Highly recommend the Ramada in Waupaca Wi. Debbie was very helpful and a great asset to the Hotel!

got to my room thinking it was clean until I walked around barefoot. and I had dirt all over my feet. looking around seen a bowl between head board and moved 1 bed a little. This room is disgusting.

Dirty carpets and mattresses. Room not at all what was pictured as room online when i reserved it. Bathroom shower way too small ...neither me nor my husband would fit. Was shown another room just as bad! Was told could not get a refund without manager's ok..was told to come back the next day. Not only got charged for a room we did not stay in/at but also got charged for late check out!!!! We ened up going to a totally different hotel. Very disappointed not only at rooms and price but also the bery non accommodating staff. Never been this disappointed and will not book there ever again!!

Prior to arrival, I saw mixed reviews on several sites. I almost changed my reservation and am very glad I did not. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The area is safe. The hotel is dog friendly and was a good experience for all of us. The breakfast was good with make your own waffles, peanut butter, hard boiled eggs and scrambled eggs (later in the week). Fresh coffee and hot water is available 24/7. The pool and gym were very nice and well used. The main pool was not too cold and the hot tub was not too hot. The hotel has the added feature of a bar, which is opened Wednesday thru Saturday during the off season. The free drink tickets were an added bonus! The hotel and room were clean. Overall, aspects of the hotel and rooms were dated and could benefit from continued renovations. This includes some improvements to the outside landscaping. Overall, the experience and value cannot be beat. I highly recommend staying there.

The hotel needs a major overhaul, especially the pool area. Where the outside slides used to come into the pool there are towels hanging to cover the opening, slowing the outside air from coming in. They are waiting for "a part to come in" for the kiddie pool. They probably have been waiting for years. Our grandkids came to visit late afternoon and we received a "noise complaint." At 4 p.m.? We weren't very loud, believe me. This hotel is over-priced, that's for sure.

A good night's rest. Excellent location in a quiet area on the western edge of Waupaca WI. Room charge was reasonable with very good amenities. Host was professional and welcoming. Our third stay at property over the years.
