Issues: Coffee maker in room was broken. Wouldn't even turn on. Sliding bathroom door support was broken. Hard to slide the door to close it. Bathroom Door lock was jammed so it did not work. The door would not stay shut. Would slide open while you were in the bathroom all on its own. AC Unit in wall had been replaced with a floor unit that was taped to the wall with a flexible hose. Was loud and noisy. Old and new control units on the wall did not work. Refrigerator froze all the food that we had put in it. Expected more from a resort of this caliber and nightly cost. The front desk person apologized and took off our resort fee and parking fee.

Okay but not a good value
The property looks nice, and had it been half the price we paid, we would have been thrilled with it. But we didn’t feel like it was worth the high price tag, and at more than $500/night, I don’t want to be constantly noticing things wrong. Every time we went to the lobby, we heard other guests complaining too. I think they were fully booked when we were there over the holidays, and they seemed like they could use more staff. Our room was hot, cooled by a portable AC unit that couldn’t get the temp under 78 degrees. Water never got very warm at any time of day. No response to our request for a working coffee maker after we notified the front desk. One elevator was out of order for the duration of our trip. I will say the grounds are lovely, and the restaurant was very good. Room service was quick to deliver. The beds were ok. We did appreciate the daily champagne and cookies in the lobby.

We went there with my Wife and 3 kids to spend New Year's. Great place, Great location in Marathon. We gathered near the Lighthouse so at 12 midnight, the anchor would come down and announce 2025. At Breakfast , there was Diana, head of service who was an amazing host and we could have talk there for hours. Very patient and very amicable.

The resort was fantastic and the service was wonderful. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Which was hard given we were all sick. We felt bad having to have our sheets cleaned almost every night. Our only complaint was, when they cleaned the room (from us being sick) they didn't do a great job.

We recently stayed at Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the resort is beautifully maintained, with clean, modern facilities and stunning interior design. The boardwalk and marina area are lovely, offering a relaxing and picturesque setting. However, there were a few drawbacks during our stay. The room had a coffee maker but no coffee provided, which felt like a small yet inconvenient oversight. Additionally, for our family of four, only three sets of towels were provided. While advertised as having four pools, only one was somewhat heated, and the others were not functional, which was disappointing. We also hoped to use the shuttle service, but it was unavailable during our stay. Overall, Faro Blanco has a lot of potential with its clean and stylish ambiance, but improvements in amenities and services would enhance the guest experience.

The room had obviously been recently renovated and was nice and comfortable and very spacious. It wasn’t particularly well appointed in the kitchenette and could have done with a few plates, cutlery etc. The rooms renovations had also left a few strange things like a completely empty, tiny windowless box room with a hole in the door?! The grounds were lovely and the small touches like cookies and champagne over Christmas in the foyer were lovely. There was one warm pool but the other was cold. We had use of the sister property next door which was nice. I think paying for parking at the property is a bit steep and should be included. There’s loads of parking spaces and it’s a 4* hotel so I feel this should be part of the cost. Marathon is a good middle point in the Keys and there are a couple of good eateries around.

Beautiful compound. Kid and family friendly. We enjoyed the fire in fire pit in the backyard. A lot of activities for family to do in a green lush garden. The restaurant is very comfortable, all staff are awesome, good food and reasonably priced. You need to try this restaurant if you are close by.

Nice resort but service was lacking after check-in. Our room can sleep 6 but we only had three sets of towels and wash cloths. We called the front desk and the extras were brought promptly. The next day, we left them on the floor to be replaced but they still didn’t replace the amount of towels that were left. This continued to happen during our stay. Our room also had issues with the air conditioning as it could not cool below 70 degrees and we found ourselves outside the sheets early in the morning. Room and resort was clean and front desk staff were great!

Very clean .. and lovely place to stay need to improve and polish their staff !! Was very pleased that the manager came to welcome us.but poorly service at breakfast in every breakfast ., dinner was much better service and more attentive. Beautiful Hotel Stay on the Way to Key West
Stayed one night on the way to Key West. The hotel was beautiful, the front desk staff were very friendly, and the sea was within walking distance. We added breakfast when booking, which offered a lot of selections on the menu and was delicious. We were very satisfied.
