I was visiting Martinsville to watch my son play baseball. I was referred to this property. To my surprise, the lobby was not clean, and the staff was disconnected. Hopefully, they will improve their service.
It was AWFUL. They remodeled it and did a terrible job. The room I was in had NO fridge, microwave, full length mirror, nor tissues (the tissue box was empty). NO plugs for electronic device's. That’s crazy since they just finished remodeling it. They don’t have any lamps and the shade in our room didn’t let up it appeared to be broken. The bathroom door was falling apart. It looked liked it had been kicked in or something. All they did was try to glue it back together and paint over it. The bathroom was tiny. The shower doesn’t have a place to put your body wash/shampoo or anything! The toilet continues to run unless you shake the handle. I have been staying at this hotel since it was build when it was called Jamison Inn. It changed ownership several times throughout the years but this is the worst it ever been. I’m there 2x a year so I have many years to compare it to.
The “PRO” is they do have a got hot breakfast! It was very good.
When saw Comfort Inn had took over and doing a remodel I expected better. Boy was I disappointed. I won’t be staying there again. I’m already looking for a hotel for my next stay this year.
The price is reasonable for the area. It’s always said you get what you pay for. So if you need a place to stay with the bare amenities then this the place for you. So be cautious. I’d rate this Comfort Inn a 2/5
The pool water was a bit questionable, towels given to us were stained, and the place was a bit run down but the staff was really great and helpful.

When we checked out the front desk delayed us for 45 minutes because the payment from your company did not clear. Finally it came through. We were almost late for our appointment.
Very dissapointed in your service.
I really like the friendly staff. I dislike my second night stay when I come back to my room my key cards would not let me in my room so I had to go back downstairs to get my keys fixed it like they had deactivate them that was very inconvenient.
