The pool was actually open this time! My bed had some stains on it. There were no plug ins by the bed. You aren't allowed to use the stairs. The elevator works, but randomly stops at random floors and sometimes the doors take a LONG time to shut. It's not very cozy or welcoming. Needs updating.

It was a very quiet area in a beautiful part of Canada. However this is more the "working man's" hotel then one I'd want to stay at while travelling. A lot of the men smelled of pot. The pool was broken. There was no attempt to decorate and make the hotel feel welcoming. I also couldn't figure out for the life of me where the continental breakfast was until I wandered down a desolate hallway and through a restaurant .The rooms were super clean, but that about all it had going for it.

I have stayed here several times with no issues but,this visit,was not great. I had to go down five times to get my key card reprogrammed, the elevators were,not closing properly, and there was a dog barking non stop in a room on our floor!

It's the only hotel for miles, which is why they are almost always filled to capacity. They allow dogs... and during our stay there were a LOT of dogs. You know what dogs do when they smell that other dogs have done what we wish they would do outside. Yes, this leads to a lot of dog stink in the elevators and hallways - it can get pretty gross! If you want to travel with your dog - its great!
