This property is under construction and i found out, now, has been for a while. No one told me that when i was making a lodging decision. But, that not withstanding, the room that i was in still has issues.
The toilet is very small and I've had both hips replaced. My wife has had no such measures, and it's still too low.
The toilet role is already broken. The staff had to know it because someone has tried to use toilet tissue to men's it.
I went to get ice from the ice machine and when it was found empty, on all three floors, an associate of the hotel tells me that the work crew is using all the ice, leaving none for guest.
The breakfast was OK. But it's in a space doubling as a meeting room and is wholly inadequate. Not to mention that it started late.
In summary, It's a construction zone, it's poorly ran, the person on duty made it clear that she was bothered when i asked for a refund.
When she spoke to someone who said, refund me, i think they had realized ALL other hotels were at capacity and that there were essentially no other places to go. Although, one (of several) guests did find accommodations elsewhere. We weren't that lucky due to staying period length.
Bottom line this hotel, renovated or not, in my view, is and will remain a "dumpster fire" , this coming from one who has stayed in hotels in both large and small cities throughout the country, as well as in other countries as well.
If i was offering advice to others, BEWARE
