This hotel is you get what you pay for. Clean and safe , but barebones. Thin bed blankets, that feel like you are sleeping with a sheet and old towels that probably should be recycled. They have updated a tad which is nice. But considering the location and how busy it is, it needs to be completely remodeled.

What a dive!!!!
What a dive!!!! The first impression is bad. They put us on the second floor, while walking down to the room the floor is buckling under your feet. The doors are in no way evo-friendly. The room was dark and cold feeling. The light and clock on the night stand were not even plugged in. When you plug the light in it flickers l. They have a three way light switch light and a single led bulb. I wont even get started on the bathroom.

Checkin was so nice. The guy was a good example. Parking basically below average for distance to room. It’s tight and narrow given all the trucks. Lots of expletives at checkin area. Just be aware. Smokers and pot around the room. Room is dingy and basic. One trash can. Towels are old and thin and small. The table had sticky stuff on it. The walkway to the 2nd floor room is squeaky and creeky. (I like that word even if it’s not a word). They waste energy by leaving the heater on all the time. Not a tree hugger, but just respectful. Water tastes like minerals. Buffet is great. But the person seating us is ambivalent. I know it’s a job. Best price in mesquite. Expect a place commensurate. Yes I’ll stay here again. Because it’s cheap and I only spend 7 hours in the room.

It had its pros and cons… the shower is atrocious and appeared as though they hadn’t renovated the shower heads since the opening of the casino. Had to use a bucket to wash myself in order to shower as the pressure and flow of the shower was relative of a cheap water gun toy spraying you with a weak stream of water. The buffet was basically prison food and on thanksgiving it is going down as the worst meal in my 30 years of being here on earth. It was the cheapest option of the 3 casinos and now we understand why. Do yourself a favor and go to Eureka or Casa Blanca, we toured the them while out at night and it was night and day difference. Virgin river should take some of its profits from the slot machines and renovate the rooms and upgrade the food. Maybe throw in a casino air filter as well.
