Initially my room had wet carpets and was not suitable. The front desk promptly moved me to a new room and delivered the key to me so I didn’t have to go back to reception. The new room was perfect and exactly what I hoped for. Very convenient to Port Miami. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff was friendly and very helpful whenever assistance was needed. The room was very spacious and clean. The location was perfect as it allowed us to walk and enjoy the nearby restaurants. My favorite part was the beautiful scenery. I will most certainly stay at the Inter Continental on my next trip to the Miami area.

The staff were very professional and efficient in their service. I was able to check in early after disembarking from my cruise. It was a relief. My complaints: Our room was so cold. The air was not adjustable at all. Also, the bath and shower water temperature was lukewarm at best. The cold room and lukewarm water made our stay uncomfortable I’m sorry to say. Also, there was trouble with my room service order. The poor waiter tried to rectify it but (the cook temp of the burger was incorrect) I didn’t have the heart to send it back again because they forgot the bacon. Sigh. Better luck next time.
