Nice but annoying
This is a nice property but could use an update. Don’t look too close in corners where dirt is obvious. Bedding was very good tho. Not much storage for an extended stay but kitchen good unless you’re doing much cooking. Lights over dining table never worked and new bulbs were ordered but were wrong size. . The elevators were a nightmare having to wait often 20 minutes. View was beautiful but too bad nobody ever cleaned the glass which obstructed the view. I was told by Vrbo that there was NO resort or parking fees. Was not happy about paying the extra 75 a day fee as we stayed 31 days. after 4 days of phone calls Vrbo decided to pay us half the cost as initial phone call was on record. They also emailed me that there were no additional fees to pay. They should have picked up entire extra fee! The heat and air did not work in this unit but they did fix it for us. Overall it was disappointing for us esp with the battle on the price after being reassured several times there would be no additional fes

great apartment, I highly recommend it, great view from the large balcony... I was there 3 years ago and there was a problem with the elevators (long waiting time) but it was fixed and everything works as it should

We had issues with the toilet which was stopped up and wouldn’t flush. I contacted the property host but no one came to fix the issue. Also we were only given two wash cloths per our whole stay (one wash cloth per person) I reached out to ask for more and also for clean linen and was told we’d have to repeatedly wash the wash cloths/towels/linens ourselves as the property manager only provides two washcloths per stay. We ran out of toilet paper and paper towels and were not provided with extra. During our stay we could hear everything going on in the condo around us, baby crying, people talking loudly, doors slamming etc. We also got locked out of the condo due to the battery going dead on the door. We had to wait 33 minutes before security came up to change it. The view is not full beach view, it’s partial beach, partially city, partial ocean where the boats dock. Overall this has not been a pleasant experience due to all the issues. I wouldn’t recommend nor would I book this unit again.

The unit had plenty of space and a lovely view. Kitchen worked well, although it could use more pots/pans if you plan on cooking meals there over a longer stay. Some reviews have complained about the elevators, but only once did we have a long wait around 10:30 in the morning. The beach was very crowded but that was to be expected around spring break time. The pool area was nice, but was also crowded on a nice day and it could be hard to find a spot. The building seemed pretty secure. You need your key to access elevators and you have to scan your key to get to your floor. Valet parking wasn't as big of a pain as I thought it might be. They give you a card with a QR code, and you text them 15 minutes before you need the car. There are very few stores or restaurants nearby off of A1A, besides those in the the hotels, but there are plenty a couple miles away. Overall, we enjoyed the place and would book it again.

View is everything! Well equipped unit. Very clean and comfortable. Would have gotten all-around five stars if the front desk staff were a little more welcoming, and the elevator service was reliable. Neither matter are owner's fault. Would absolutely choose again. Those views.....

Mixed Feelings
This review has 2 parts - first, the actual room was absolutely gorgeous and the view is exactly as is shown from the expansive balcony. There are no complaints here, we really enjoyed spending time in this room. Second, the actual property at Hyde Resort had much to be desired. The elevators were a nightmare, sometimes we had to wait 20+ minutes to go down 29 floors. The ID bracelets were quite invasive and were required to be worn at all times on the property under threat of a fine. The towel cards were required for the pool and beach, which provided 2 chairs and an umbrella. Again, there was the threat of a fine if this was lost or if towels were not returned. Shirts, shoes, tops were required in the lobby, again the threat of a fine if this was not adhered to. There were days I really had to think about if I wanted to wait for the elevator to go to the beach or pool, walking down 29 flights was not even an option. In closing, the room received a 9.5 and the actual property received a generous 6.

When we opened the door there was a lovely scent. The apt was very nice, modern appliance large refrigerator. Kitchen area was clean. But when we started to look closely there are repairs that are needed. The bottom of the drapes are filthy. Small parts of the ceiling are peeling. The shower area needs a facelift. The white towels could use some bleach, they are clean but appear dirty. But considering the the cons we still had a relaxing time.

Had a great time!!
The property was clean we were able to get an early check in. Easy to contact the property manager when we needed to. Elevators kinda suck but we did not wait too long during the week.. just must not have been too many people. There are nice complementary chairs and umbrellas (for 4 days) but you have to walk a ways down the beach to use. I would recommend this place but the pool closes at sun down and for families that really is kind of a bummer.. also be aware if you are planning to go to and from the room a lot, the elevators are not equipped for the building. There is only 3 and they can take a while. Overall we had a great stay (made friends with all the security guards.. they were the best part of the trip!) and enjoyed our vacation.

View is better than the photos - AMAZING
Property was gorgeous, the balcony view was amazing, restaurant by the pool was great. There is a Japanese Restaurant right next to the building as well. Loved that there were a LOT of super fluffy, clean white towels. The building was really nice with security guards in the lobby making it feel extra safe. Lots of other reviews mention elevators - they were not a big deal at all we only had to wait 1x for about 5minutes. Will 100% stay here again.

Dirty up close, not new anymore.
Arrived at check in to find that the resort had not received our names and reservation from property manager/host of unit. Took an hour to get in. Arrived to a unit with a bloody tampon in the toilet and blood on the toilet rim. Hair on pillowcases and black marks on pillow cases. Took a clorox wipe and wiped floor in some areas, floor was dirty. Requested cleaner to come back, it took about an hour or so for her to arrive and we needed to be there to let her in. Claims sheets were changed and they were clean. She cleaned the toilet mess up, I released her without any other cleaning, I was ready to start my vacation. Next day we took showers in cold water, mentioned the lack of hot water at the front desk and the next day we had hot water in shower, and a backing up shower drain, even with a rain shower head that produces a weak stream of water. Disgusting to have to stand in a shallow pool of drain backup water. It took days to get someone in the fix that. Never had hot water at kitchen sink. Dishwasher is not anchored to counter top and will tip out, better be quick and catch that. Headboard on bed is filthy, hair and dust all over the headboard. Sofa/futon is uncomfortable and is stained. Hair all over the floors around the perimeter of rooms where cleaner must avoid cleaning. Elevators were not an issue, you had to wait a few minutes for 1 of 4 elevators to arrive, it isn't a big deal.

Flat out amazing!!
Everything with the property was amazing, some people complained of the elevators we were up and down them many many many times considering we DoorDash almost every meal and frequent did the beach and pool. We never had any issues with the elevators at all. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever stayed in aside from our personal residence. If there was one complaint it would be that the beach chairs you are allowed to use for complementary are almost 150 yards down the beach and not directly in front of the property. But other than that the residence itself was absolutely amazing, with amazing views.

Fantastic experience
Really enjoyed our stay here. We should have requested early check in because we had to wait around for a couple hours before we could get into our room. We were still able to go up to the pool and restaurant though. View was amazing and everything was nice and clean. We stayed Wednesday through Monday and had zero problems with elevator wait times. They were super fast and we used them frequently! Overall we had an amazing time, thank you.

Modern Comfort with Tons of Amenities
I've always preferred staying in a private residence over a hotel. Staying at this property gave me the advantages of both. The condo was brand new with gorgeous modern furniture and excellent kitchen appliances and kitchenware (many rental properties have older appliances and low quality kitchen supplies). The hotel gives access to the pool, gym and of course, restaurants. I loved this place, and I'd stay here again.
