They gave us a free upgrade to a suite and it was very clean and spacious. They have three buildings close together with 2 pools to use and free drinks 5-6pm at the Oceanside Hotel building. We got off a cruise ship early and arrived at 10:30 am. We knew check in was at 3 pm but after lounging around the pool for a little while they had a room for us and allowed early check in. Definitely will book again. Randy

The Seaside hotel was so disgusting we couldnt even sit on the bed to make other reservations. There was blood on the bathroom door knob and door frame. All the electrical outlets had roach repellent on them. The floors had hair and dust bunnies in every corner. The metal gate to enter the property was hanging on by one hinge. This property was quite literally the most unclean, unsafe place I had ever seen. Obviously we didn't stay! DO NOT RECCOMEND

There was an issue with the showers faucet; needs to be fixed due to leaking all day and night of not tightened properly. Too much to turn the knob’s that it hurts my hands. Also seemed as if there was water damage on the base boards. Housekeeping was slow when asked for items. Overall, it was good with small improvements needed on the property.

In the heart of North Miami Beach. It was an excellent value for the convience of a walkable neighborhood with so much food and nice shops on Collins Avenue to explore. The dogs loved it, too. The property and large room was clean and well maintained. Next time I evacuate from another hurricane, Seaside will be my safe escape. Thank you for the 3 days

There was a leak in the ceiling which caused water to get on clothes. Also the floors were very dirty and caused black marks all over feet constantly. You can’t walk around without slippers at all

I Love the fact that the hotel is a block away from the beach! I Love the Beach! Also, the stores near by such as Walgreens, CVS, some restaurants, and several other places made it truly a dream to be there. Even though the set up as far as the structure was different, but it didn’t matter because it gave that feel of the beach life, which cannot be replaced.

Was given the original original address for the property but then had to travel another 5 blocks to the office to check in after arriving. The staff was very unresponsive to phone calls. I called dozens of time and even had Expedia call with no avail. After checking in, I realized there was no remote in the room so I couldn’t turn on or watch the tv. It’s wasn’t until 9pm before someone came to even see what the probably was. It wasn’t until 11pm before they had to exchange the entire tv since any remote they had couldn’t program with the tv already in the room. This was one of my worse experiences utilizing Expedia. I was charged a $30 resort fee to stare at the walls is insane. The only individual that made it right was the kind lady that checked me in and allowed me to stay an hour later after check out in an attempt to make up for calling for hours for a tv remote and having to walk an additional mile and half back and forth to the office just for tv remote. I spent a majority of my stay attempting to contact the front desk for a remote. I was ver disappointed. Expedia should do better, especially if you guys are adding such a high property fee for the worse experiences.

There was no parking at the facilities. It was all on a side street and if you parked early, you had to pay to stay there and it didn’t guarantee you a spot when you came back because it was public parking on the road. Definitely not in a safe area. We had to go to a different hotel to check in and park in a back alley to get to the front desk and once in the office, we told them we did not feel safe enough to stay there with our daughter and he basically told us that wasnt his issue and that we would not be getting our money back even though we never checked in, the photos on the ad are not the same pictures of either property that we saw. This whole thing was a very deceitful experience.

When I was checking into the property their key card machine was broken. I waited around 40 minutes for my card when I was told it would only take 5 minutes. Once I got my card the front desk staff (Soldedad) told me that because of the inconvenience I could have a late checkout which was at 1:00pm. the check out date comes and I receive a phone call from the front desk telling me night shift is not allowed to authorize that (This is something they need to communicate amongst each other not what they should hear through me). This was extremely inconvenient because it changed my scheduling. I do not recommend staying here.
