Waterside Hotel is a dump.
Hotel was not at all like the pics online. The hotel has several that are at different locations. We luckily had the main unit. My daughter booked the same as us so we could be together arriving the next day. When they got there they had booked them a a different unit 6 blocks away having to carry they’re baggage. The main unit is the office and all towels beach towels or toilet paper have to be picked up there. Anything after 8pm you have to call in and they rarely answer. The floor was so dirty you feet turned black. The room was never cleaned or bedding was never changed. My daughter was in the same situation and was very disappointed also. I would rate it lower but they don’t give negative stars.

For the price I would say that the hotel was a good value. Like other reviewers I did experience a little bit of a musty smell in the room and did notice some stains on the wall that could be mold/mildew. I will say that the beds were fairly comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. While there is not a hotel parking lot, there is a public parking lot about 150 yards away. They only charge between 8am and 6pm at $1 per hour. At most you will pay roughly $11 per day with the fee for using the app/website. There are plenty of places to eat near by and there is a Publix a couple of blocks away.

Staff was ok, water dispenser in the office is a good thing. There was a funky smell in the room emanating from the kitchenette & bathroom possibly due to lack of ventilation & high humidity, it is Florida after all. Overall, a nice place to stay. Publix transport is easily accessible from he property. Bring a room spray if your nose is sensitive to odors.
