The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the food at the on-site restaurant, and relaxing there with a cocktail. The staff was super helpful. There was a delay with getting us checked into our room, so we had to wait a while, but they comped us several vouchers for free drinks at the bar which was cool! The gentleman that managed the area where they store peoples luggage for them was super nice as well!

Hotel was just okay. Elevators were slow. A/C made a very loud noise when it came on. Hotel had a peculiar smell. Maybe mold although I didn’t detect any. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Everything in our room was pretty much all broken, cracked, or looked patched up. The bed was not comfortable and the air conditioning was very loud. That asside the staff was very kind and helpful and the food downstairs was very good. There was only one guy working the whole food area and did a great job.

Nice changes, very busy leaving
There have been a lot of improvements made since our first stay a few years ago. On the weekends with the amount of cruises going on, the elevators are extremely busy. That is the main negative. Its a 40 minute wait to just get to the lobby.

We ran out of toilet paper, towels, and never had conditioner or shampoo in the shower to use. Very frustrating when you have a family of 4 and we had to call for everything every time. Also, someone left a hat before us and nobody picked it up before we were there! Did they even clean it? Hmmmm

YVE is a old hotel that need to be updated. On YVE website shows pictures of medium to large size rooms with water views but the actual room was very small 11' x 12' to be exact. Bathroom very small felt like a closet maybe 3' x 5'. On our vist 9/21/24 on a hot day, the air conditioner was broken. We arrived at 5:30pm and the air conditioner was fixed around 8:00pm. Each room has its own air conditioner in a bulk head with is one quarter of the room. When the air conditioner cycles off and on, its loud and when you are trying to sleep, it will awakens you. Not what we expected when reading reviews and looking at pictures. Only good thing about YVE its close to Miami Cruise Ports.

The hotel is conveniently located right near the piers for cruises, but still in a nice area with plenty of shopping and eating options, all within walking distance.
