Room and beds were somewhat smaller, and shower and closet were smaller than in the past 12 years I've stayed there. Appeared to be a handicap access room. Called the front desk and a larger room with larger beds was not available.

The Salamander is incredible in every way! The staff was beyond excellent in planning my girlfriend’s birthday weekend. They went above and beyond in making the weekend unforgettable. 5 stars doesn’t do them justice. I HIGHLY recommend the Salamander!

Beautiful architecture and design, well-appointed. Enjoyed our stay but things were very overpriced (60-minute couple’s massage was $590 with mandatory service fee/tip; $6 per 8 ounce pour of Diet Coke at the spa pool), and some things could use updating (missing tiles on jacuzzi in women’s spa).

Pretty resort with nice spa. Extremely crowded on the holiday weekend which made for crowded pools, spa and restaurants. If you didn’t have reservations at the spa, you could only go to the family pool packed with kids.
