room was comfortable size but furniture was old and soiled chair should removed not very clean.The bathroom look clear the night did not check the shower tub out intill Friday morning what we found was a tub with mold so bad we did use it...Told the front desk said the were sorry like it was fine.Would never stay again

My go to place in Pendleton
Great place to rest for the night, a bit dated but great views with a balcony. If you. An put up with the long check in times and no breakfast, the Red Lion is a great deal.

Driven Salt Lake to Tacoma twice a year for about 11yrs. Always stop here for the night. Property is a tad dated. That said the rooms are clean, have fridge and micro, large especially compared to new hotels. The area is safe and very convenient to 84. Front desk agents have always been friendly and accommodating. Allow dogs. It’s my place when headed west. No issues with the door key either. After some recent experiences nothing worse then hauling your stuff to the door and struggling with the door key.

The view from the lobby is amazing. Tom assisted me with check-in and he was warm and friendly. Our room was a bit dated and worn. It wasn’t spotlessly clean but it was acceptable — I have no complaints. But, the Wi-Fi was weak and slow, the guest laundry machines were broken and the treadmill in the fitness center was not working either. When I am traveling, I choose a hotel based on those points so I felt deceived by their online listing. There are four other hotels on that block and I probably would have chosen one of those instead. There is a cute little diner called Shari’s across the street. We had dinner there (decent food, very kind staff). There is a Starbucks not too far away where we grabbed breakfast. Overall, the area is struggling economically. I understand why the hotel is in its current condition. It sounds like it was an excellent place to stay a decade ago.

At check in, Tim was very slow. He had the correct paperwork but then when he started looking at the computer he had the wrong reservation. After he got the correct reservation, he asked me all of the same questions that he had asked & had written on the paper reservation. It took Tim a good 15-20 minutes for check in.

Property appears to be on the verge of shutdown. Restaurant was closed. Bar was closed. Seemed like part of the hotel was unoccupied. Room was fine though.

The front desk person was amazing. When we got to our room there were beetles all over the room. The front desk person tried to find us another room but we looked in 3 other rooms and they had them too. There is no restaurant on site anymore so they don’t have breakfast as advertised.

After check-in we got nothing else done. No towels, coffee,sheets. We were there 3 days. They didn't vacuum. The first night everything was clean but after that no cleanup at all.we need 3 nights a month for r months a year. We look forward to breakfast

Sadly the restaurant and lounge are no longer operating. The pool was fantastic. It’s just unfortunate that for such a large and once lively facility is struggling against competition and inability to find enough staff. All said, we will definitely stay there again.

Looks like the motel has fallen on hard times - restaurant closed. Rooms were clean and comfortable although aged. For example grout around tub looks bad.
