It was a great stay. My only complaint was the $30/night for self-parking, which is ridiculous. Plenty of places to park nearby for free.

Great place.
Great place, with restaurant on premise and next door to cute little shopping center with lots of options. The area is very expensive and this place is on the more affordable side for Carmel. If you compare to other lodging in the area, it is a great deal.

This is an older hotel and it shows a little. The restaurant was okay, nothing other than common okay food, it was pretty pricey compared to food behind the hotel. It was very noisy from traffic and thin walls. Beds could use replacing. We didn't feel we could pull the shades down enough to block onlookers. Careful, they charge a nightly service fee of $40 for internet/parking. Upon questioning the fees, they took care of us so that was a plus to the front desk management.
