Charged twice for poor room
Bathroom was in rough shape. There was mold around the exhaust fan and down near the shower drain. Paint was peeling down where the tub and drywall met.
The beds were too large for the room. One bed was pushed all the way up against the AC unit so there was no room to walk on both sides of the bed. Checked in with 4 guests and was only provided 2 towels.
There was no screen on the window.
The worst part about the experience is we pre-paid for the hotel using Hotels.com, upon arrival I was asked for a credit card to put on file which I assumed was for incidentals since I already paid. After providing the card I got a notification that I was charged a different amount than on hotels.com. I asked the clerk and he said they never received payment through hotels so he needed to charge me. I showed him a confirmation and he provided me a refund receipt, however I still have no pending credit yet. I was charged $80 more on Hotels.com than if I would have booked directly with the hotel. Then I was charged twice and have not seen a refund from either hotels.com or the hotel themselves.
Overall I was over charged and charged twice, room was very poor quality and small. The whole experience was frustrating to say the least.
