Charged twice for poor room

Bathroom was in rough shape. There was mold around the exhaust fan and down near the shower drain. Paint was peeling down where the tub and drywall met. The beds were too large for the room. One bed was pushed all the way up against the AC unit so there was no room to walk on both sides of the bed. Checked in with 4 guests and was only provided 2 towels. There was no screen on the window. The worst part about the experience is we pre-paid for the hotel using Hotels.com, upon arrival I was asked for a credit card to put on file which I assumed was for incidentals since I already paid. After providing the card I got a notification that I was charged a different amount than on hotels.com. I asked the clerk and he said they never received payment through hotels so he needed to charge me. I showed him a confirmation and he provided me a refund receipt, however I still have no pending credit yet. I was charged $80 more on Hotels.com than if I would have booked directly with the hotel. Then I was charged twice and have not seen a refund from either hotels.com or the hotel themselves. Overall I was over charged and charged twice, room was very poor quality and small. The whole experience was frustrating to say the least.

I was highly disappointed because the hotel room looks nothing like the ones in the pictures. We got into our room after a long drive, and there were flies in the room! There were no towels, the room was still dirty. There was hair all in the bathtub, food on the floor, rappers on the floor. It’s a really small room and we got one with the king size bed. We had the air conditioning unit on, and it made my boyfriend sick, I’m not sure if they have cleaned the filters or not. It did not have a smoke detector, someone removed it from the ceiling , and the following day in the morning of one of the maids were cleaning right next to our door at 8 o’clock in the morning with what sounded like a vacuum or leaf blower, making a lot of noise with no regard for people sleeping. I didn’t feel comfortable trying the breakfast after seeing how dirty the room was. I mentioned it to the front desk and he offered to switch us rooms but at that point I had already cleaned it myself with disinfectant wipes I brought. The only think I liked was that it was a close walk to the beach and we went around 7pm and got to see dolphins swimming around.

Close to the beach, convenient parking and good breakfast. Overall room cleanliness was poor. Bathtub faucet was barely functional to get the water turned on. Bathtub was scummy looking. Even the ceiling had food or something gross on it. Bring your own hairdryer.

Marina Country Inn by Radisson?

The rooms are very dirty and so were the sheets . Not enough supplies. I needed to go to front desk and get some. The first room I was given had mold and sand in the bath tub. It seems for $200 a night, you are getting a run down motel. The rooms had this pungent smell and my wife could not sleep as felt some thing biting, like bed bugs. Hotels.com should not list this place at all. It seems all the rooms are run down !

Don't stay here!

This facility is in need of a total and complete remodel. The only good thing about my room was the bed. No cups provided. Room just looked shoddy. No elevator. Stairs only to get above first floor. Breakfast complimentary but did not offer a bagels, muffins or rolls -- white bread slices only. I've stayed in many a hotel, this ranks right at the bottom.

Looks can be deceiving.

The service was good. First room the door frame was completely broken, anyone could have broken in during the night. The room was dirty and I asked to change rooms which the man let me. Second room was still very very dirty. The bathroom had pubic hair all on the floor and the walls were covered in yuck. Shower had other ppls hair in it. I went to wash my hands and again other ppls hair. The shower wouldn’t get hot water so I was unable to shower which was not ok! Over all I will never stay here again. Bed was hard too and it was so gross I didn’t even sleep in the covers! Never again. Nothing against the people. Nice and friendly.

When I arrived and went in my room, it was infested with COCKROACHES, so infested they were in the refrigerator. The property was run down and dirty around the premises. When I spoke to the front desk person he was rude, Yogi, I believe was his name. I immediately called Expedia and sent them pictures of the cockroaches all of the room. Expedia made it right and refunded me but I still see this hotel listed on Expedia…I would neverrrr

Massive Rip Off

Air conditioning didn't work in any of the rooms despite us massively overpaying for them. The price was basically price gouging because of car week. Massive rip off.

Property was very busy. I felt safe but you had to take your own trash out and get your own clean towels. Housekeeping never came to change anything in 5 days. It was very clean when I arrived and breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

This place was discussing!

This place was very disappointing and discussing. Our room didn't have a smoke alarm and the sprinkler system was taped off also the Safety lock was broken. The most disgusting thing was the bed nasty smelling and full stains looked like urine and blood. The front desk personal said thy would discount us 150.00 but they did not . How can i get compensated for this? We are very disappointed with this place. Here are some photos of the bed and the room and the smoke alarm and sprinkler.
