Everything was GREAT at Dunes Village Resort we will be coming back. The view was exactly what we wanted facing the beach. It was very quiet and peaceful. We were placed in the older building, could stand some upgrades but it was still nice. Nothing to complain about. The employees were awesome check in was easy. I dont remember the young lady that checked us in name, but she gets 2 thumbs up👍👍. I have recommended Dunes Village to friends & family. Access to the beach, game room, water park was quit easy. We planned on eating at the restaurant but we didn’t make it, definitely next time. Highly recommend staying there.

TVs would only work every now and again. Bathroom was made for someone 4 ft tall. A/c worked! And worked and worked cutting on and off every 2 mins. I had to repair the stove to make it work. Safe in roof did not work. Ceiling was cracked all around. All and all I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend

The start of our stay was delightful. It was so quiet and clean. Of course, it's a hotel geared to children (which we have 2 of our own) so as the week progressed it became incredibly busy and loud. But again, it's what we signed up for. I'm just glad we had the first few days to ourselves. It's a lovely hotel with lovely ocean views. The water parks were so great and I'd recommend it to anyone who has children.

This is probably the best hotel I have stayed at the beach. I love how they have activities throughout the day for the children to do. The 2 indoor Waterparks keep the children of all ages busy and it's lots of fun. Our room was spacious and very clean. Check-in was a little chaotic but that's okay. Only thing I did not like is we had to walk a block to the parking garage

Everything was good about the property, only issue we had on our stay was multiple water bugs in the room. Also, we did not enjoy the parents in the pool area with open containers of alcohol around the kids.

This was our first time staying here, but definitely not our last. Staff was courteous and helpful. Our room was awesome. It had a fully stocked kitchenette with dishes, pots and pans. A full size fridge and microwave. 2 Queen beds and a sofabed. A little apartment away from home. Very clean and strip accessible without having to drive too far. I'm in love with it. Best part is access to waterparks on the premises for FREE with stay.

Not what we expected!
Well it’s almost November and when booking the stay the key part to a family friendly hotel with indoor water park would be the indoor water activity should be warm. The pools were way too cold for children. The hot tubs were warm but not hot. In the rooms there was 2 queen beds that when u moved they made such a horrible noise, there is no way you could do anything in those beds without the whole room hearing you! Not to mention the few bugs we found in the bathroom. And the water stains on the ceiling over the beds. We were told on the phone there is a complementary breakfast, that was a complete lie. 13$ for adults is crazy!

Dirty linen on bed with pee stains and broken toilet holder in bathroom with screws on sink. Nobody never came to fix after front desk took my name and room number down. Front desk stated the maintenance and housekeeper was super busy and they would get to me but no one ever showed up. I changed the linen on the dirty bed and put the old linen outside my door. Horrible experience. First time here and won’t return again.

The on site water park & beach just a few steps away was hands down the shinning star of our stay. Local attractions were within a few miles drive. Our room was extremely accommodating - fit 3 adults and 4 kids very nicely! Room & hotel in general was clean with that home away from home feeling. We will definitely return!

Loved the variety of water amenities and the beautiful view of the beach. It is an older property, but updated and well maintained. We had an oceanfront king suite. Kitchenette had all that we needed and the dressing area had a nice vanity space. Their beach is well maintained with lawn area with chaises as well.
