I've stayed at the Garland several times when visiting family in the area, its always been a great place. This time I was booked into a room that was really huge, it looked like a conference room table belonged in there. I finally decided that it was a handicap room even though there were no signs indicating such. The shower was the only negative. It only had a 1/2 glass door covering the entrance and within 1 minute of turning on the shower, water was running out onto the bathroom floor, then into the hallway onto the carpet. I had to roll up towels and try to block the water. I could tell this was a recurrent problem as the carpet was stained from previous water problems. Other than the shower, the room was comfortable, i really liked the little balcony, breakfast was standard fare and nice to have available. Convenient to the highway.

The hotel is very nice modern design with bold vibrant colors and furnishings. The room was very clean and offered shampoo ,conditioner, body gel,and lotion along with coffee for the room coffee pot.The breakfast buffet was wonderful and appreciated. It offered sausage,eggs,pancakes,home fries, sausage gravy and biscuits . It also had cereal, instant oatmeal, bagels,english muffins, donut holes and bread for toast.It also offered coffee,tea, and 4 different kinds of juice.The pool and hot tub were closed indefinitely but they offer a back patio with Adirondack chairs and fire pits. It was nice to sit around at night or early morning. The only complaint I have is the shower in our room is about 6ft off the ground. I am 5'2" and even though the shower head could be removed, I could not reach it to remove it but the shower itself was beautiful.

Not far from the highway. There is a Sheetz nearby which is convenient. The rooms are fine. The one I stayed in was large and wheel chair accessible. Shower was hard to adjust. There were loud bangs every half hour. It could have been the room. It opened one floor up from the lobby. Rooms were clean. They had Starbucks coffee pods in the room. Overall fine. Room space was good. So again probably great for people with wheel chair or walker. Adjusting the shower might be a little hard if you are under 6’.

Gem of a hotel!
What an amazing hotel! We just needed a standard little hotel, but this was fantastic! The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were actually medium firmness which is ideal. The room was clean and big. The kitchenette and furniture was well appointed. The full breakfast was more than expected with plenty of options. This was just a gem of a find for the price. So happy we happened upon this hotel.

Clean, seems to be newly built. Few glitches should be addressed: Hand held shower WAY to high to be reached to be adjusted or reached to use as hand held and the built-in shower seat in corned not designed as stepping stool to allow you to use to adjust shower. Lighting in bathroom was poor… TV had no instructions and major broadcast channels (digital HD) were not available. Mini-kitchen was lovely. Only chair in room lacked, I think, seat cushion and when AC came on air blew directly on that chair, most uncomfortable.
