Eventhough the property is about 5 years old, I thought it was brand new. Very clean. The only negative was the pool was not in service. They were waiting on an inspection by the state.

Checked in Friday August 2- carpet all over hotel was stained a filthy for what appears to be a newer hotel. Air conditioning didn’t work which when asked the staff stated they knew and maintenance knew but they did know what was going on. Stated they had several complaints at the time and were getting fans for people. The thermostats read incorrect times on each in my room and could not set temp just kept rising. Saturday aug 3 woke up about 2am or so to fire alarm and rushed out. No fire, unsure of what issue was. Staff didn’t say a word to anybody at time of event while we all sat outside worried or concerned and no apology then or at checkout on aug 4.

One night stay in Luxury Suite.
Not very welcoming upon check in. Had to ask for extra towels and recieved an attitude. Showers did work after "the township was messing with the water lines." Had to "fix" it ourselves. Handicap shower head was too high to reach and provided a straight stream of water - like showering under a hose. Also, we were told that although breakfast is from 6-10, the food is usually gone by 730 and they dont refresh it. The facility was beautiful.

The only good thing I can say was the bed was comfortable. My husband’s ac wasn’t working right, didn’t like the showers and the breakfast was awful. It sure looks nice but was one of the worst places we stayed in quite a while

A/C broken, woke to an 80 degree room. Computer broken, 1 hour check- in. Lights in bathroom and bedroom went out. Woman at check in apologized. Guy in a.m. not helpful! I read reviews like this and thought it was isolated to one event. It is not. Hotel has bad bones. Stay anywhere but here!!!

Choosing a room for a family while in route across the state can be risky but WE LUCKED OUT HERE! What a gorgeous hotel right off the interstate. Clean, bright, and so comfortable! Staff was wonderful! We wished we were coming back through to stay again! Highly recommend.

We chose the Garland hotel based on reviews. I was disappointed to see dirty carpet in the elevator and our room. The room was so humid that everything felt moist, which grossed me out. The shower, that was interesting. The shower head couldn't be moved and the water was hitting the shower wall. You literally had to stand with your body touching the shower wall to get the water on you. No hand soap in the bathroom, and the continental breakfast was extremely limited. You're better off going to a different hotel and spending the 50 extra bucks.
