I made this booking a last minute hope for the best. As it turned out, it was a great choice. It was clean and parking was easy. But best if all, it is close to a large supermarket along with a Dollar store and NSCL right near each other. The room was clean and comfortable and, once I figured out the heat pump, it was warm and comfortable. The USB charging unit in the room was very welcome, resulting in fully charged cell phones in the morning. I will definitely stay another night here.

We did not stay at the hotel, after checking in we experience some unsavoury characters in the rooms next to us. Also, the bed was too hard to sleep in. The walls were dirty, and the couch was crusty. All in all we decided to leave Because we did not feel safe or comfortable. Please do not charge our credit card.

This property was in poor condition. Wallpaper was peeling, fixtures rusty, furniture is worn and in some cases broken. Bedding was threadbare, worn out, and stained. Bathroom was dirty, and in poor condition with peeling paint, rusty register, and soiled garbage can. The entire room smelled of mildew. The heat pump could not be adjusted and just pumped out mildly warm are all night. A provided space heater couldn’t take the chill out of the room even at the highest setting. Our room had no tv or heat pump control. When we called about this the owner showed up at our door in flip flops and a McDonalds uniform and provided the remotes. Snow and ice on the exterior was not cleared or salted making it treacherous getting in and out of vehicle and going to from room. We booked here because of limited availability of accommodations in the area but would in retrospect have driven an hour away for a better experience and avoided this place.

The temperature control was sketchy. We froze the first night as heat shut off. We had to ask for coffee replenishment, room was not cleaned over 3 day period, snow was not ploughed until mid-morning so we almost got stuck, no snow shovelling by room so we had snow in our boots once we reached the room, no boot tray so floor got messy.
