While parking within the resort grounds is abundant, finding a spot near the public beach can sometimes be challenging. However, fret not, as the resort provides an hourly shuttle service to both the public beach and the main swimming pool of the resort. The pickup spot for the shuttle is conveniently situated around 100 yards away from our condo. Additionally, our Cypress Bend community swimming pool is just a short 100-yard stroll from our doorstep. For those looking to shoot some hoops, there are basketball courts located across the street as well.

Relaxing beach trip

We enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Tropical Bliss very much. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had great weather and were able to shop and enjoy some beach time.

Quiet and clean

This is a hidden gem in North Myrtle Beach, behind Barefoot Landing nestled on the golf course. The pictures online don’t do the property justice- the place was clean and comfortable!! We were pleasantly surprised with all the amenities of the property. I really liked that it was on the ground floor and how quiet it was especially since we had to get up super early each day to be at the ball fields. Our host was very responsive to any and all questions we had, would definitely recommend!

We have booked this property multiple times and truly enjoy it every time. The host provides a beautiful apartment as well as thoughtful extras like a 77 inch HDTV in the family room which provides a theatre like viewing experience. TVs in both bedrooms as well as in the screened un lanai, a fully equipped modern kitchen and tasteful furnishings make this choice a no-brainer for our family.

Really enjoyed this condo! With the 75 inch tv, gel mattress, and great view of the golf course on the screened in porch, we absolutely loved it! Great value overall too!!!!

Nice spot but had some issues

The unit itself was very nice, good layout, tvs in every room and a great location-however we were delayed 2 1/2 hours getting checked in as we waited for the cleaning staff to clean the unit after a 1000 mile drive! We notified the owner when we noticed that there was no toilet paper, soap for the bathrooms, paper towel and dish rags. He states that the cleaners confirmed that they left toilet paper and the other items were not something they provide. We insisted there was no toilet paper left by the cleaners but he chose to believe them! We had to use two facecloths for oven mitts as those were not in the unit either. The owner also had us fix the ice machine in the fridge ourselves. The cleaners had advised the washing machine was broken so my partner had to get that working on his own as well. We found this to be more than frustrating. It would have been nice if the owner had dropped in to see the basics that were missing and realized that we were being honest in reporting all the deficiencies. Wouldn’t go back.

What a great place to stay.

Great location amd space

We wanted to stay somewhere close to Barefoot Landing as that's where most of our plans were. This was an easy access location and close to the beach as well. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. Charles made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

First time in Myrtle Beach!

This property is in a good location, close to the pool and many restaurants and other attractions. It has a lovely view of the golf course out the back patio - great for morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine! Unfortunately, the property was not very well looked after and many of the amenities are of poor quality. A number of things that should be in the home were not and we had to go back and forth to get everything supplied.

AMAZING!

We have stayed in other condos in Barefoot and some of them have been outdated. This one is GORGEOUS. It's upgraded in so many ways. HUGE awesome TV in the living room, nice beds, hardwood floors, beautiful kitchen with nice appliances. The view of the golf course is awesome! Great host too. Loved it here.

Condo was not maintained.

Our stay was not pleasant, and we had to sleep with the lights on the 3rd night, because we saw a huge roach. We returned from dinner and as soon as we put the lights on, my daughter saw a huge roach running around. She had to kill it with a shoe in her hand. We tried finding another place to stay that night, but all hotels were full. We wanted to leave the condo and sleep at the airport all night as we had an early flight. I messaged the host/cohost the next morning, and detailed our night. They did not address the situation. They replied to my message with another message about informing us we will be fined if we do not leave the access cards, which we did. Parking passes were never left for us, although he detailed that we would be fined if we did not leave them there. I provided feedback to the host/cohost of everything that needed to be fixed or addressed in the condo, from the toilet handle in the hall bath, to a dirty HVAC filter. I sent him photos of the roach. He did not care. I requested 1/3 of the lodging cost back since we were afraid to sleep with the lights off the 3rd night. We did not sleep much. I called VRBO, and found out you have to call them during your stay, not after. They would have found us alternate lodging for the 3rd night. The VRBO rep conferenced the host/cohost, and we all were on the phone at the same time. The owner/host was calling me a liar, cheap, and claiming that I was trying to extort money from him. I simply reported to him the experience we had in his condo. I sent him photos. I explained what was not right during our stay. I did not promise him a good review if he returned 1/3 of my lodging fee. He accused me of that on the phone. The phone call was recorded by VRBO, and none of our VRBO messages supported his claim. I planned to leave NO review if he graciously accepted my genuine feedback, and honored my request for 1/3 refund due to our 3rd night experience. Instead, he was rude to me. The condo is advertised as a glamorous 2Br condo. Providing guests four old towels with brown lines thru them and old, worn out comforters is not glamorous. This was not a good stay for us. The main pool was nice.
