Room itself was ok. Bathroom toilet kept flushing and water temp control on shower was all over the place. Shrubbery and parking lot were unkempt. As well pool, although drained had a bunch of trash and a broken sign in it. It was not a welcomed sight and made my family and I uncomfortable. If it wasn’t for the 24 hour cancellation policy I would have cancelled my reservation on how the grounds looked.

Although it’s nothing fancy, it was perfect for one night and shower. Great water pressure. Clean. Towels are a bit lacking, but for the price, no complaints. Didn’t have breakfast.

Worth the Value. Would return
We have stopped in Santee several times while driving from NY to Florida. Better than most of the 2 star hotels we have stayed at. Pretty quiet and easy on and off to I95. Exterior lights are very bright and room was not so dark on the side close to the exterior windows. We would use this hotel again but wish the curtains were a little more room darkening.
