The house needs some updating but overall we had a nice stay for six weeks. This is all I would have said in my review but I was taken back with the email received from the management company 8 days after our stay. Following your recent stay at &@ Dr. we wanted to inform you that our cleaners and inspectors have reported some damages to the house. These include:- Roku TV remote missing- 3 bath towels stainedWe have initiated the necessary steps to address these issues through your security deposit.Deposit was docked 63My responseI appreciate the update, all remotes were there when we left With regard to the towels, they were washed according to the directions on the washing machine, and I use spot remover on anything that I saw. I found this washing machine left spots on my white shirts I want to address some additional concerns. During my stay at &@ Dr, I had to purchase a number of household items that I would consider basic to a kitchen. A swiffer as the broom on site was old and dirty. A paring knife ,wine glasses , plastic storage containers for left over food , and various cleaning supplies, as these were either missing or not provided. These are essential household items, and I don’t believe it’s fair that I had to cover these costs myself.The vacuum was missing a filter after leaving 2 messages it never was fixedThe dishwasher does not clean properly and we hand washed the dishes.
